Apparently though in the US there's no CRA on cars. So even if you buy from a trader it's never 100% sure you're going to get a good car. That's what my friend said any way.

According to our BMW guy, the newer 4 cylinder petrol engines are even worse.

1.0 Ecoboost, anything with an Audi/VW DSG box, Ford automatics, anything under 1.2L, soon see BMW N43 engines on the list, Vauxhalls generally (can't remember the last time we bought one). Got a top(ish) spec Cat N 2017 Civic that we can't sell to save our lives, so I don't know how good of a seller they are. It's silver and a Cat N, so I can't judge it clearly. Not in a rush to buy another one though. Even if it's a straight one.

I spent 2 hours in the gym this morning. The only upside to the rain and having no covered unit to work in. Doesn't look like the rain is going to stop any time soon, either.

Most of our cars are diesels, rarely have petrols in fact. Never had much of a problem. People do ask about DPF issues occasionally, but that's about it. With the Birmingham congestion zone, I imagine that might change for our more local customers.

Top marks at GCSEs and A Levels in languages. Got into a good uni and suddenly everyone was as good as/better than me, and it scared me. Went from top of the class to bottom. Ended up with a 2:2 French degree that no one wanted, because I didn't work hard enough. Started working in bars/nightclubs from 2005-2012. Fell into cars in 2013 with my business partner. He knew a bit about cars, I knew nothing. (And still don't know much haha) Bumpy 6 years so far, but hopefully with some changes and hard work, the future will be better and brighter. Otherwise I might have to find a rich OAP to sign his savings over to me.

Ok that's good to know going forward. We've never had many new Mercedes, so haven't been bitten yet. Just got a 2011 320d, runs perfectly but makes a sound like the belt does when it's rubbing a bit. Our survey says: CHAIN! Ding ding...except you don't win any prizes for that.
