  1. I give you 2.... 1) one man was being checked into custody for drugs... Had lots of notes on him so we was counting it at the custody desk. Another prisoner was being moved from the nurses room to a cell and he leaped at the desk trying to take the cash and was pounded upon by few heavyweights.... Yes in a secure police station custody block - how on earth did he think he would get away with the cash? Like I said they are thick and in this weird mindset. 2) Post office was being robbed by 2 men armed with a gun in a bag. The owner had his own gun and pulled it out. The 2 tried running out but was locked in. We turned up and found they only had a banana in a carrier bag.... We asked them why you ran - one said "my banana wouldn't even fire blanks" and matey pulled out the real thing. All 3 got done - including the owner for possessing a fire arms. Hate the domestic jobs. Gosh they are annoying as F. She said this. He said that. She shagged him. He did that.
  2. In short they are thick and narrow minded. Hence they get caught. It's like with cars - buyers are chancers. Not all but some...a majority. In the criminal world most are daft. The car they leave behind could be stolen !
  3. Be careful folks as people like to test drive and not return the car. Someone forwarded me this and lucky this pricey motor was found https://www.nottinghampost.com/news/local-news/driver-arrested-after-car-wasnt-3410827
  4. Still don't get this topic and yes you can call me thick. Relevance means spec colour etc? If so then depends on the car and also the buyer whether he's from the estate with few pennies or a Tory with extra red notes to dash out for the colour
  5. How long was the wait from getting the paperwork to getting out of the car at the border checkpoint?
  6. I dont know If its this topic but i am hearing more of the WBAC radio ad now !
  7. I never understand why in the uk we have 1.99 or 24.99 and in the US it's 1.95 and 24.95 But for cars in the UK we use 95 and not 99 Anyways I hate all this I prefer whole numbers so I would list high and "knock off" (sell at my price) anyway so £7195 is £7k and punters are happy "more" cash that way The more whole round numbers the easier it is to books.
  8. Think they only drive cars under x years old and transport cars over that age. I cannot remember the exact age.
  9. Read something about this in the papers (or websites nowadays). There's very minimal people of other ethnicities. Some have said there might be racism within this group. All this nonsense about "peaceful" is just another way for them to be little spoilt brats and have their chaotic events through nuisance and disturbance rather than violence. If they did really care they could rummage through bins and get empty cardboard boxes and stand outside supermarkets letting people use them for their shopping rather than cause traffic to standstill and released more fumes... Like the modern traffic lights aren't enough
  10. The only thing Boris is good at is standup comedy. Watched the Tory conference speech for 30mins other night and haven't laughed so much in ages
  11. Black smoke please.. They are doing nothing but causing havoc under the pretence of being "peaceful" Just shove them out of the way. I know people that have missed doctor and hospital appointments because of them
  12. You naughty people selling diesels...if the daft sods known as Extinction Rebels find out about you..they will turn up at your lots with a fire engine and spray red
  13. Following my email sent on 25th Received log book today. They printed it on 27th I did give them 14 days and told them they shouldn't be faffing about with 2nd class post and enclosing 2nd class return envelopes. I also said that they have asked me for same info again and are taking the Mickey. They used first class post this time. So emails do work folks. I did ring them up ten minutes later and asked them If They received it. So i am guessing the dead beat that confirmed the email opened it and actioned it straight away. In future i will always enclose a copy of the BCA invoice to speed things up.
  14. Another one of my boring topics... I know some of you trade part time. Was wondering if anyone has other jobs or job like hobby? Am in to house renovations and spend about 60% of the week on that. Love doing DIY and its easier working on a house with lots of space than fixing something under the bonnet and cutting your hands
  15. From the wording of the article it is in fact misleading to establish you can be bAnned for misuse of a badge. If you google "penalty for blue badge misuse" you dont see anything in relation to a ban. Except this one article. And like i have said its not clear cut from their wording. From another topic on this forum it has been established that a lot of folk on here weren't academic. Neither am i but its not really difficult to critique a piece of text... Its not about "not seeing" - the point i clearly made there was publicity about phones / drugs / drink. Even the DVLA made a massive publicity over the last 6 months for road tax and they in fact went out and clamped a lot of cars in these specific cities that they publicised in. There's a lot of folk on youtube who make easy money by picking "flaws" in the professionalism in other areas of work yet they don't know how stretched these areas may be. A prime example is a lot of fools that turn up to A&E but its not an "emergency" or "accident" - yes they may have accidentally cut their finger but it's not an "emergency" (this has huge demand and waste of resources and then there is backlash against NHS to not meeting A&E targets - well how can they when every willy nilly turns up?) or the recent fools who stab each other for peanuts? Then the rest of us are at risk from NHS' poor services or fear of privatisation.
  16. You're 28 but left school at 15? How is that possible in the 2000s? Pre 1960s yes but in today's climate how so?
  17. Once again... If you could be disqualified for abusing a blue badge in the article provided at the bottom of it the penalty is mentioned - "max £1k fine" - if you could be banned it would have mentioned "max fine £1k fine and possible disqual" Also if it was something new then there would be heavy publicity about it - just how there was about drug driving etc However the article has done its job - to confuse and scare people Also i retired at a senior role - more managerial / procedural. Beat bobbies know more about little blue badge laws
  18. Yes that begs me to ask... These cars with 5 and 7 year warrantys do they have any major issues within warranty period? A brand name is just hype. Mercedes charges £60+ vat for a tow eye cover....on an old cls.... Con !
  19. Still waiting on his background...
  20. Just out of 3 year warranty Need extended manufacturers warranty Perhaps a push for recall
  21. Now now boys behave yourselves or i will have to arrest you and seize your stock and sell it myself
