  1. This. Personally if I were in the OPs position I'd be working on my golf swing.
  2. Great post, in particular the last paragraph.
  3. Puegeot planet is a great machine, as long as you know how to use it. Like most of these things, I'm not sure many do. Mark, if your still stuck with this next week give me a shout as I'm away at present. It woukd require a trip up to God's Country though and an overnight stay, but i seem to recall your old man is up this neck of the woods.
  4. Ashtrays on a motorbike, chocolate fireguards and then you have surecheck. All utterly useless. Even by motor trade standards a truly deceitful product. Anyway, all unimportant, anyone fancy a survey?
  5. Always important to smell the roses. 10 years ago a local business was selling off their two forcourts. I had a choice of the two and elected to buy where I'm at now for the reason that ultimately you'd get more houses on it. Another dealer bought the other. I more or less stuck to cars and the other bloke got into campers. He's made a fortune, an absolute fortune and could probably buy me out with cash. Meanwhile I'm still messing about with EMLs plus a few other bits and bobs and during the day looking like Steptoe. I'm on my jollys tomorrow, when I get back sadly he'd have passed away after being struck down all of a sudden by you know what. Small the roses chaps, smell the roses.
  6. I'm sure EH will retail that without a care in world.
  7. Possibly not, I bet he has great taste in shoes though
  8. Welcome. Any help you want, anything at all you only have to ask. No need for any drink or luck money. But, well if you could lay your hands on some tickets for this year's open at Portrush....
  9. Where there is a boom there will always be a bust. For us peasants who don't have such booms then house prices will more or less stay the same, as will everything else.
  10. Jesus, can you imagine how loose that must be. As far the car.....
  11. Really? Seems like a Peacock thread to me. Hey ho.
  12. Wise words as ever. Absolutely, it can help you grow. On the other side of the fence, three dealers in my area over the last 12 months have more or less lost the shirt of their back because they tried to live the dream with stocking loans.
  13. If there was a world trust championship for the motor trade then RAC/AA etc would be right up there going for gold. They may as well right their reports in crayon as far as I'm concerned.
  14. To be fair, if they are decent and they have the space, who can blame them?
  15. EBay decline ? And yet only two months ago there was a thread on the other forum saying how it was on the up.
  16. Put an average proxy bid on one there today which I thought I'd be £400 out on. Was pleasantly surprised when the invoice came through.
  17. Agreed. There are plenty of dealers out there doing very very well without AT. I certainly wouldn't dream of calling them 'Certifiable'. I use them but honestly, I could take or leave them and if the latter the world would not end.
  18. Anything powered by a french unit flashing like a Xmas tree.
  19. Glad it worked. Personally I think it's a bit of a no brainer to go on it. If you don't mind me asking, did you boost posts or do target marketing? I'm led to believe there's a big difference. I'm lazy so simply boost them.
