"What is the range" has replaced "Has the timing belt been done." It baffles me. For example, I had a Guy call who works 59 miles away from his home (not 60 but 59) and he wanted to know whether the 80 mile range Leaf would get him to work and back on a single charge. I said no but you could drive to work, charge it and drive home and he still questioned whether it could be done in one charge. Surely, if you are considering an EV you would Google the answer first, for at least some idea. I told them, from my experience (during the day in ECO), Full charge, range said 60 miles, I drove 10 miles and it went up to 61 miles. A bit like driving a normal IC motor, it depends how you drive it and calculates the mileage balance accordingly. After all the "how far will it go" questions, I get the "they are really quick aren't they." I think do you want range or do you want speed.

This /\/\/\ Used car sales does not lend itself well to price indicators, in fact it is ridiculous. Pricing low to high or indicators works for new goods (not cars). For example, I have just bought another Nest camera (I have 5 work and home). I know how they work, I know how to contact Nest for support, so all I need is the cheapest, quickest, closest. That said, I would have still paid an extra tenner to have been able to get one straight away instead of next day.

Diesel gate seems to have been and gone for me. Most still seem to prefer the oil burners. Now, my Nissan Leaf is bringing out a new breed of weird.

Current stock I bought a 57 plate Merc with 1 main dealer stamp. Got the car back and checked the pack, full Merc history. Someone had missed one page in the book but it carried on from there. Got a 59 Merc with no history. Checked the pack - no history book but at least a dozen Merc service invoices in the folder (on a 60k miler) Swings n roundabouts

In that case - just make your company the Nominee and put the plate on. If things change, pay the £80 and make your son the Nominee again.

Why doesn't he just put the plate on the car he uses privately rather than this sketchy set up which may appear to the insurance like someone is trying to bend the rules? I presume he is under 25 and probably restricted for business only. Or, why can't you just allocate the plate to your company and stick it on if it is that important?

I was referring to my personal number, not work. CarGurus you can see which car they have called about via email.

Because when you miss a call and try to call back, you will be calling from a different number and people don’t always answer calls from numbers they don’t know.

I also had the pop up message and I am not happy either. They will sell it to you as a way of seeing how many calls you get but I think it is their way of trying to retain your business. I.e. you drop off the package and someone has saved that number, they can't reach you.
