excuse the pun but we have been absolutely motoring. 37 in 37 days. then on the 6th of July someone turned the tap off! zero sales in 6 days. the tap will soon be switched on and we can resume as normal here's to a great weekend everyone and I hope we all smash it out of the park

our whole business is based on german cars 5-10 years old. they sell quick and the good out weigh the bad.

I pre qualify them on the phone. If they are coming in they are already pre approved on finance, that’s just school boy stuff if you’re not doing that. If they don’t turn up there’s naff all you can do about it. We are too busy to worry about the ones that don’t.

we have done 7 this month, but this weekend has been a shocker after so many appointments not showing. I literally just book them in now and that's it. I don't pay any more attention after that. my diary has become a waste of time.

Don’t even bother worrying.... And after a pint I’ve just figured out why. Have you ever travelled in a Family car with 3-4 youngsters and only one iPhone charger and everyone’s on 20%.... let me tell you... it’s chaos..... everyone is fighting for the charger..... no one wants to run out and there isn’t enough juice to go Around. this is the exact same problem with electric cars. If the country had 50% electric cars there would be absolute carnage in built up areas..... and the cost to install these charging points would be incredible. im stuck at Faro air port and that is my thought of the day. i will sleep easy tonight now

We sell bundles of diesels In Essex but maybe we are just far enough away from the a406 for it not to affect us. If I was anywhere near London I wouldn’t touch them. Unfortunately petrol Audi and bmw petrols are absolute shite, so we will mainly stick with diesels

Yes we still buy from market place and eBay, I don’t really think it matters where you buy them from as long as they are desirable. We bought 3 more tonight but wow was it expensive at Aston Barclay compared to last week. and thanks for the price update, on the x3 lol, actually sold that today on finance today. Thank you, yes, now 20 for the month with a nice lumpy one today I will have to hold my hands up, the 30 days passed, and we literally did 2 from car gurus, none from ebay and none from motors. we have upped our auto trader to 31 now. and honestly its been ridiculously busy.

We are smashing our best month by a long way. We are on 18 for the month already and the auctions were mostly over book tonight at Aston Barclay Chelmsford. Diesel cars still in strong demand in Essex. We bought 7 car tonight and hoping to smash our record out of the water tonight. If you are quiet then change to something that works.

I can fix any pretty much as long as the cost of parts doesn’t outway the cost of a new boiler. I’m good from electrical fault finding to combustion and circulation issues its all well and good saying you’ll be busy but unfortunately it doesn’t always work that way.

I won’t buy a car unless it has £1500 margin in it minus any prep costs, unless it needs loads of work and I just don’t even bother these days with that sort of stuff. if I clear £1000 minus any vat then I’m over the moon

Hi mate, no all is good, I work mornings 6-2 doing the gas and village cars 2-6 in the afternoons, quite tiring but it’s working well, my business partner does the mornings

Is there any free DMS with sage integration? My main company uses dragon2000 for our main company which is fantastic but I do a few on the side away from the main company as a secondary income and wanted something basic just to do the VAT Margin scheme and stock book which will integrate into my sage installation. regards grant
