I think they leak ATF over the loom connector too

You know how the 3.0 Diesel is to be avoided in 2013 RR & RRS due to a locating tab on the crank failing and seizing the engine, is this an issue on Discos ?

Best system is Mercedes STAR, but it depends on the guy scanning it using common sense and some knowledge.
I'm assuming its a petrol ?Forgot to mention, there is a sort of copy of STAR available as a hand held scanner called the i980 (Mercedes version) for £100

These will not show on a generic code reader and rarely on Mercedes STAR system
All the best

Used to be quite a few problems with these with the gearbox ECU and cam position sensor.

Try it with the MAF disconnected.

^ Not worth it if they leave a negative AT/Facebook/Google review

Thanks guys - these figures seem like more than I guessed but then look at the costs of opening a site.

I ask because I know of a guy that buys and puts all his cars through 2 x garages down south to sell for him instead of taking the hassle/time of sales himself.
Seems like a smart biz model assuming the commission isn't too high.

Whats the going rate places charge to SOR £10-£20k units ?
-
I remember an IS220D that was on its third engine at 4 years old (150k) going through the block

Lovely cars. In 2011 I had a IS300 LE bought without history and couldn't give it away. Superb stereo and so smooth.
6 months after it had gone, the auction forwarded 2x spare keys and a fully stamped book...

I don't know how you manage it.
If I'm tracking a dozen cars on LiveBid in a morning, I will without fail miss 2-3 of them. -

Another trick they do is the double hall bid.
It's at 11,100 - No bids for a good few seconds... You bid, then amazingly it's spurred another 2 hall bidders on and now you're at 11,500. It's a simple enough strategy to do as so many fall for it and they catch you when you're spam clicking. They go back and say "Sorry Hall Bid", `Yes Mr Auctioneer, you saw 2 bids while you were starring at the monitor watching for my next bid`... You know what ones do it, just bid the once, they'll learn not to do it to you.Last thing I've noticed. They don't take your first bid. Hall doesn't seem interested at 10 for example, auctioneer is begging for a bid. You bid, then here come the woodworms with their several bids. At the moment, I'll say if you're in need of stock get down the halls and off the internet. It's a running fest.
Steve is bad for this, although does let a lot go cheaply for no hassle bidders

Does anyone sell vans effectively through AutoTrader ?
Seems hard to filter for specific models.

Genuinely surprised any of you took Motors seriously. Let alone sign up with them.
Why do you think a regular punter would use their website which has zero brand recognition or media footprint ?

Nicer manual gearbox in these W204 C Class than in the equivalent BMW 3 Series in my opinion.
Much nicer to drive too.

Always a few that pop up in Motability that end up very cheap

Got 2 to shift.
Anyone want a 58 plate Audi TTS roadster. One owner, full history with less than 34k miles. Black, Red and black leather. In top retail condition. Had it 2 months and not a phone call on it.
What's wrong with it ??!
Just looked up the advert and it looks stunning.
Sort of thing that should sell within a week of advertising -
You would get 4 cars in that
-
I still can't believe I didn't buy this at £8100 all those months ago (actually sold at that price despite the screenshot)
It had Sat nav, brown leather and was Grade 1
What are we doing wrong?
