I remember picking up a 330Ci M Sport with mayo on the oil filler cap.
Couldn't believe it - one owner immaculate car.
Turns out they all do it if stood for a while / short journeys. -

Was it a weird manual car with fabric interior ?

Yeah, looks fake

unless it has pan roof and the stereo upgrade, you will have to price it the same as the other 000s in the MB network / car supermarkets etc

No advisories
I really needed to get the car on a lift (which I don't have) in order to have patched the exhaust

We have a 2004 Fiesta swapper which we just put through for an MOT in order to get rid of it r
Failed
Exhaust 2nd Idle Limit : 1.030Test : 1.031

Admittedly there is a blow on the exhaust, but that is ridiculous.
Garage of course insists on a new downpipe and backbox at £140...

I have always wondered whether this is due to short women slipping the clutch causing this ?

On a similar note, cars with OBD socket covers missing / hanging down...

Take RS Direct in Bristol for example.
It seems most of their stock is sourced from enthusiast owners forums and collected by themselves from across the country.
Follow their Facebook/Twitter and you can see their pickup up and down the country weekly (and often sold in the same week!) -

Mostly scrap tat, occasional nearly new prestige snatchbacks are cheap

SBC battery possibly low or system requires replacement -

Then in the cafe after the sale he would ‘talk us through’ how he did it !

Any idea who was that old cockney that used to stand at the front of BCA Castle Bromwich and bought 1/4 cars ?

I'm not sure that is entirely relevant
(I might be wrong)

How are you sure the actuator for the VNT is calibrated correctly ?
(You can't, it has to be setup properly)

Brake fluid level ok ?
Not leaking from any lines or callipers?
You really need the codes read to be honest

They seem to have a quite a following at the auctions for top money.
Hard to understand.
