Glad this has been bought up. I thought they should be mounted ont the dashboard so the plate is clearly visible at the front of the car thro the windscreen? And stuck in the back window again clearly visible to anyone behind?

Thank you mate realy helpful. Yeah i was thinking around £1k a month would be a decent investment but also allow you to actually make a net profit. The area on a farm would probably cost around £400-£500 a month but doesnt have an office and is basically just a bit of land, albeit on a lovely setting farm. But at £1k a month if on roadside you’d hope to at least get £2k a month of walk ins alone on the basis of £500 profit and selling 1 a week just walk ins alone

Contemplating going for a little road side pitch. Were based in the south east - gatwick/brighton region. What sort of costs should we be looking at for a site to hold 10-15 cars? have seen a bit of land on a lovely farm that is also a possibility for the future but a roadside pitch would be ideal

Looking at car dealer 5. The basic package is £360+ vat a year but isnt responsive. The next one up is £450 and is responsive. Is it worth getting it responsive so it shows on all tablets and desktops? says it auto loads to AT and Ebay pro - i dont have ebay pro just use standard ebay so not sure how that would integrate. Interesting though

Can i ask why u use imovie instead of just downloading the original clip of the video from your phone to youtube? Just to put a backing track to it?

Good option to have. No everyone can afford their new car outright. Credit cards come in handy and can create a sale u may not have otherwise enjoyed

Do people really use gumtree here to sell on? tried it once. Hideous Shame the old Pistonheads sold out to haymarket as always liked the original site. Dont even bother looking on it in the last few years

Considering motors too but again does anyone really go to motors and not ebay/AT, im not convinced. Years ago i sold 2 private cars and listed for free on motors and got zero interest comparer to lots of interest on the other 2 How much is motors?

I dont get the block prices... if everyone is buying at almost retail how is it poss to even make any profit on the buy price. Let alone account for overheads

I always use ebay auction over classified. Builds more interest and bids and u get more pex offers. Usually stick a reserve on or a £99 start no reserve for a cheapy and get what i can with a blunt and frank advert

How much is click dealer? how much would a basic-ish bespoke site with say 8-10 pages cost

Pass on the 2% fee to the client if they wish to use a card ... but ive heard law may be changing soon meaning you cant “add 2% to the purchase price” to cover card fees soon

What is the general rule on this to cover yourself? how can we be 100% sure the car is fine? A fresh mot? what if a clutch goes after 2 months for example? -
