  1. I get told what is was like often. 10-15 sold a week from a decent sized pitch, all with chunky profits, buyers grateful to be able to have a car-not too fussy, cash on the hip, part exs for nothing, loyal returning buyers for good traders, or go away and fix it yourself and if you needed to restock at auction go and take your pick pulled out needing very little recon. Sounds like a dream world.
  2. very interesting - didn't know some of this info. I think BCA are quite strict on their facility though - they want collateral.
  3. We have spells of sales being busy, the rest of the time it's quiet. Massive change. Even having cars priced very keenly doesn't matter. Demand is very low.
  4. This. twats like the one giving Dealer D this grief probably gave a lot of warning signals off. we all need to start fucking them off. They're not worth the agg.
  5. Mr Customer, like how we cannot remove your 30 day right to reject, we cannot extend it. It's the law and it is how it is.
  6. so basically you do what autotrader wants you to do
  7. What influences one car to get more views than a similar one? I’ve always thought price.

    Mr Bob

You’re quick to jump on the Internet now - did you look at their reviews before you bought? It’s not the b all and end all but you can tell this place is as dodgy as fuck. I can tell you now looking at them you won’t get anything out of them without going to court (even then they’ll close down and change name) or getting some lads together... but you won’t have the balls for that because you’re crying on the Internet. big lesson for you
  9. have you sold any cars with it like this? it's not making the car hard to find?
  10. quick one chaps - how do i remove the price indicators - remember there was some trick to it???
  11. Forum language for a thread that stays listed at the top... stuck to the top... sticky
  12. Yeah, sold a couple like that. Their numbers are often wrong, the two I sold that had high price markers were comparatively still some of the cheapest on the market. AT was wrong and the customers never questioned the price. Bottom line is you have to offer the whole package - that includes being priced well.
  13. Sell good cars, ask for testimonials, get feedback, build real reputation.
  14. Where's he getting his cars from? He's doing well buying at the minute... I could do with a new source
  15. What sort of stuff did it tell you to buy? Would be interested to see your stock.
  16. Having only done it the dealer portal way I don’t know if it makes a difference. I suppose it might depend on the kind of stock and the overall presentation. Maybe link your adverts and we’ll see if there anything missing, how the price is etc
  17. saw your other thread & if you can't sell them on AT you won't sell on ebay
  18. This line has come over with the Eastern European’s. It’s not an English style of negotiation and I fucking hate it, it’s such a blank way of doing a deal. No personality, no charm, just show me the money.
  19. No they won’t and I think you’ve missed the point - they don’t care about your opinion or 100 moaners because they do what’s right for them and whats good for them isn’t always good for us and visa versa. Their YOY profits are up... again... can you say the same? 20% price hike in April I hear...
