Unless it's a cookery book. Or the bible. Or a colouring book called 'Colouring Book' maybe? Anyway, another rule of the Motor Trade: Knobs buy cars.

Brilliant Day I was representing NextGear on the Cox Automotive stand with Manheim and out sister companies. Really enjoyed spending time talking to car dealers and other people within the industry and was a great platform to get our message across about what we REALLY offer, not what other people say! Enjoyed the BREXIT debate and also listening to Caralot, the car shop and Umesh. Back to Stoke now to follow up on the leads I generated ! Looking forward to next year.

Lawgistics write warranties for self underwriters. Provide a nice glossy booklet that you fill in. I pay around £8 per book and then run a pot of £1000 for any repairs with a £500 claim limit. I sell the 12 mth for £350 and every time I do, I add it to the £1000 pot, after 12mths can drop it into profit? I originally set up with Warrantywise, however have heard horror stories about claims and also I dont want pictures of Quentin Wilson all over my unit!

Unfortunately it just comes with the job. I had one yesterday...... that actually bought a car. You just don't know, there is no way of telling either. I just treat everyone as if they are going to buy a car and one day they may, or their family may, or friends or someone that saw the facebook post where they tagged themselves at your forecourt.

Probably best just to self warrant. Put £100 from each sale into a separate account and do not touch it for anything other than "warranty" repairs. Remember whatever insurance based warranty you put on the car the customer can still bring the car back to you when the warranty company more than likely does not pay out !
