The used car market is facing a volatile first few weeks post-lockdown with prices likely to take a dip, says CAP HPI’s head of valuations. In an exclusive interview with Car Dealer Magazine, Derren Martin revealed CAP HPI had not moved values for six weeks, but will begin to start adjusting them next week. If you have nice self contained premises,I think it is a good idea to show images of all the facilities.Better still if they can be embellished. However,it will need to be reasonably priced to get dealers to use it.Its a low margin business and funds for marketing are generally used up.

Yep. Many decades ago it was a special moment if you saw a Lambo or a car with the prancing horse on its bonnet. Not now.

I thought it was nice to hear that it’s not just the peasantry such as myself that has to put up with low ball offers

Three had their own network from launch. They are part of Hutchison telecoms and their network was the first 3G network. Which is why they are called Three. Smarty and Superdrug mobile piggy-back on Three (Hutchison own Superdrug and a load of other companies). Virgin mobile piggy-back on EE. But Virgin broadband have their own fibre network and don't use BT lines. Its all owned by Liberty Global.

Hi James I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing cash flow issues too. It may be my naivety but I thought businesses such as yours, Online, Publications, Media etc would be fairly resilient to the lock down. I thought it would mostly affect those unable to trade, carrying large stock values with or without stocking loans (all business sectors) with no means of selling (or certainly well below normal numbers). I guess your advertising subscribers have drastically dropped off which would explain your issue. I am so pleased (thank you) that you have managed to maintain the forum. It is free and the contacts I have made is incredible and to be fair is the main reason why I subscribed to the mag to offer some revenue back to Blackball Media. Fingers crossed we all make it through.

Nice one mate. Staff morale is key. One garage i know, he takes the boys out twice a year - cycling and golfing. The donated xmas chocs / drinks / prezzies get evenly split out as well. Some of the guys have been there for 20 years. Currently he can stay open but chose not to for staff safety.
