It doesn't though.... having your time wasted by these morons utterly stops you from being more productive, its counter productive. It stops you from prepping, photoing, finishing, advertising, perfecting, researching, bidding, the time wasted is totally detrimental to your business, ..... it stops you from doing all the stuff you need to do to earn money, plus it eats into the family time. Qualifying customers properly and asking for a show of commitment calls their bluff, as soon as they then make excuses you know..... Before anyone says, its different for a site clearly. I know you don't agree Nick, but your waster makes me fucking angry and is why I don't facilitate them. You gain a lot more by valuing your time and not allowing it to be wasted.

Trade it out.... let someone else suffer with it. To cure that oil burning issue will cost mega bucks... where do you stop? Piston Rings, Stem Seals, Valve Guides, Turbocharge, Timing Chains.... Big End Bearings.

That will be the oil rings , they get gummed up and remain closed , hence the oil burning smoke after idling . Walnut blasting is a waste as you have to remove the head for the rings , so parts washer sorts that job , lap the valves back in , new gaskets and bingo its all ok till next time . The two dirty plugs diagnose that too . Carbon build up in those engines is because they run super hot . By the way they have Chains not belts as well . Chains stretch and while its in pieces you would be mad not to fit a new one , + tensioner Minis do need experience nowdays little buggars

Agree with everything said, just get it back to base, if it's fucked refund the twat, minus 50 pence per mile he's driven it, and do not sell to self confessed wankers like this again
