Two vw's without A/C in a week.

Recommended Posts

Just taken a lovely polo in p/x. The 2nd this week but both have no air.

Both 12 plates with nice miles but not so sure now the summer's coming.

I havn't had a car without a/c for years and didn't know they still made them without. Do I need to buy these two a Xmas card ?  Or anyone have any luck with these?

I normally stick to the jap stuff Toyota, Honda,Mazda etc

I'd say with a Polo, it'd be more important to have an AUX input or Bluetooth.

Had an older Polo S with no air, manual windows and no remote central locking for about 8 months :(

Everything has a price....

It may not have AC but then some people really arent bothered. On a pitch, you will have a better chance than online. I've got a base Up (take model), no ac, keep fit windows, and no central locking, just like an old escort you have to lean over and unlock every door individually. No idea how long I may have it for, but theres always someone out there who wont be bothered.

I have just sold a Citroen C1 (20k miles) pov spec, no air, manual winders, manual mirrors, key locks (no fob), no central locking.  Only thing it had over my first car was PAS and CD player.

Sold it to a chap who wanted this povy, light as possible spec because he was enetering the world of single type motor racing where apparently for £1,500 you can fully race prepare these C1's with standard kit.

I thought the mileage would sell it (and it did to a degree) but thought the ridiculously low spec would hold it back.

Bum for every seat for sure.

Sold one of those last week too, but to a local lady. To ensure that she was able to save as much weight on it as possible it didnt have a parcel shelf in it and had approx 2 litres of fuel....
