Dave2302 387 Posted December 23, 2018 FFS Sort it out How complicated can it be, just imagine 3 Briggs and Strattons joined together It's minus one "Bang" is it getting Juice, is it Sucking, is it Squeezing, is it Blowing, is it Sparking ...................... Jesus, even Benji's bird in the Matalan Frock down the "Dog and Duck Karaoke" can get Juice, Suck, Squeeze, Bang and Blow, and all in the same 10 minutes And she didn't drop her Kebab & Chips

AutoJacob 34 Posted December 23, 2018 20 hours ago, have a word with the wife said: what is this ? as i suggested / asked earlier, have you changed the map sensor ? why ? because the vacum control valve is NOT the map sensor ........... Changed map sensor and no difference.. I'm thinking that the exhaust might be blocked as at low revs it's fine only when under load / high revs does it misfire. AutoJacob 34 Posted December 23, 2018 1 minute ago, have a word with the wife said: yes you said once already Haha I know it seems to have embedded it's self in my latest reply. I've managed to delay hand over until after Christmas so if it needs an engine then it gets an engine.. we will check the exhaust tomorrow morning. Fed up who would have thought these little tin can cars would be so complex. I've been told it may potentially be an ECU fault which shuts down the injector in Cyl 3, however it seems to be very rare.

It's me 615 Posted December 23, 2018 (edited) During the war when we were stuck in the desert the only tools we had were a Manchester screwdriver and a vacuum gauge these two tools saved us and we got a Victoria cross sandwiches medal,so the moral of the story is vacuum gauge before noid ,think about it what tool is more versatile, answer none but the Manchester screwdriver draws a close second if the gauge fails to deliver...........just sayin Edited December 23, 2018 by boring dave Spilling mistoke
