jan808 1 Posted June 15, 2018 Hi I bought a car from an auction site. Find out it has finance on it. Called up and they said i should have checked myself. Can they sell cars on finance? First purchase and this happens. Can i pursue this legally? Any advice appreciated.
justina3 518 Posted June 15, 2018 What auction house, come to think of it doesnt sound right to me you pay an indemnity for just this reason.
David Ayers 171 Posted June 15, 2018 Have you checked with the finance company if they still have an interest in the vehicle?

If you bought a vehicle advertised on eBay then you need to take issue with the seller, eBay don’t sell cars. Mid you bought through a Motor Auction, ie BCA or Manheim then they will accept the car back. If you have been stupid enough to purchase a car without doing the basic checks then you only have yourself to blame.
