metcars 397 Posted June 14, 2018 I've got a Focus today no code and the head unit has got to come out. Is it worth trying one of those Ebay places or shall I just go to Ford? Thanks
Stalker 180 Posted June 14, 2018 On some ford sets you can get the serial number by pressing a couple of buttons, then I phone our local ford dealer (parts dept) and he gives us it for nowt. I do usually like to praise the guy and tell him how good he is at his job to help it along a little
Del Boy 76 Posted June 14, 2018 Do you know the serial number?
BHM 994 Posted June 14, 2018 eBay (if you don’t know someone with a Ford code database) - I guess it’ll be 50p or £1. I’ve used these sellers plenty of times for other makes of car.

I hope to tug it out tomorrow if I get the chance I’ve got the software to get the code. It should start with M. If it starts with V then only Ford can get it. Around £10 from memory
