Just the 2 for me this week, thought I was going to do more but no else committed

Lots of enquiries this week but only 1 sold today lovely Mecedes C class.

Interesting, I've only had a handful of minis (2009 on coopers) with no issues. They sell well with full chili packs and big wheels. I'm not surprised others have had issues seeing as they are BMW product and I get nothing but hassle with German cars. Good build quality, chocolate engines.

I advertise that we buy cars that does work well, I usually get them for a very good price as they just want the money. I've had some real bargains doing this; I used to buy privately but its hassle driving round finding peoples house. then finding the car is a tub etc. At least with auctions you get a condition report and mechanical report so you can see what you're buying. I know what you mean though the fees do kill it but its finding the right cars where you can rack the margin up and ignore the price guides.

Be interesting to know, I recently rounded my prices up i.e £6995 to £7,000 and viewing figures went up. But I'm always playing around with numbers.

Yes if you want to get rid of the customer take the car back and issue a refund. If it's within 30 days they have a right to reject if it has a major fault or after 30 days you have to prove there is no fault at time of sale.

Best thing to do next time is just do your own report. I'm still waiting for them to pick it up though!

UPDATE: BCA are taking the car back, my mechanics did a report which suggested the engine to be replaced, so now they are coming to collect it. Well done BCA.

I currently have a car which i bought with a clean AA report but the engine knocks, suspect piston. Requires new engine. 2009 BMW 318 petrol M sport 60k miles. Called Monday 27th June still waiting for a response apparently someone will call to take it to a garage? Its really annoying and seems to be hard work getting anything out of them.
