  16. Now that DVLA have changed the rules again. How are we supposed to display them then? My mechanics have sold old magnetic ones with handles on them, one goes on the roof and the other on the bonnet and are really strong but are no longer made. I was covering the original number plates but not allowed to now. 4. Display of trade plates A trade plate: • must be displayed on a vehicle as long as it is visible and vertical on both the front and rear (rear only for motorcycles) • cannot be displayed inside a vehicle • must not cover the vehicle’s existing number plates (except motorcycles)Please note: Motorcycles can continue to display a trade plate over the existing number plate.

  18. Yes same here on a busy road most sales come from passers by! People who say forecourts dont work anymore are so wrong! I use ebay and car gurus works well for free.
  19. Slightly, some customers recently have bought petrol and clearly stated to me they do not want diesel, then there are the others who will only ever buy diesel mainly due to the lower tax bracket. I personally only drive petrol and have never actually owned a diesel car I could call my own.
  20. Sought after pickups! Same as L200 but Ranger more desirable being a Ford.
  21. Yes that can be an issue but older cars will be!
