I don't think you'll go to prison for no current keeper, but I would rather be squeaky clean. Don't want the hassle or inconvenience.

Just my opinion, others may disagree

Your always entitled to your opinions Met . And agree with you .and hope your well

was always brought up to listen to advice views or opinions and have learned a lot

I have done it before with the tax but find it easier just to keep an old smoker as personal transport

    Yes exactly.

No one has the time to look through why a car doesnt have a registered keeper. A registered keeper doesnt mean he's the owner...

Tax it. Mot it. And insure it.

    Then drive it.

Traffic cops are focused on driving offences and road legal cars. They dont have time for tax or keepers. They're like the lowest offences of the lot.

Get pulled just mention the vehicle was just bought and / or its in the trade.

Road wars etc are 10+ years old when there was traffic cops. The whole policing priorities have since then changed.

Well, I think cops are mostly focused on MOT/insurance/drunk driving and speeding? With towing/trailering coming up on the outside. Driving a car not showing current keeper is asking to be pulled over, because cops know one thing leads to another? This is just my personal experience living in London, but I'm guessing if you are in the highlands of Scotland or rural Oxfordshire you can get away with murder?

I do in a way agree with you both As I and Met mentioned you could be stopped if it's flags as no registered keeper .

Tango I agree if you explained the situation I think you would be ok I really only mentioned it cause some people may not have heard of it a car being stopped cause it was showing no registered keeper though I do admit Its probably Rare .

On previous occasions have  taxed my own sales cars that have been in the trade and would again if I didn't own a personal daily driver .

I had an iPhone 7 and my son had a Galaxy 8

We took exactly the same photos to compare them.

There was no comparison. The Galaxy was in a different league. I believe the Huawei Pro models are a step up again.

I have an iPhone XR now. Its on a par with Samsung and Huawei models from 2/3 years ago. But it is entirely adequate for car images and videos.

I can't change because everything I have is Apple. Android phones are simply better, but I could never switch back to PC from Mac, thats the killer I guess.

I agree I even thought about using 2 phones at one point I've two on contract but I gave one to me elderly father to use and put the sim in a basic handset .ive a couple of iPads and a couple of amazon tablets prefer the iPads . Guess it's what your used to

Don't worry about future updates... That just won't happen...

I came from the iPhone. I used to hate Android (having spent only a few minutes on it), but became sick of Apple slowing the older phones down purposely through their OS updates so you buy another (Samsung and Apple have been fined for this).

Having had the Huawei on Android, after a day I knew that there's no way I would go back to Apple...

    Its like unlocking the chains.

As for the camera, image quality and phone in general - just incomparable in a good way!!!

Thank you yes a computer repair man I know mentioned the iPhone Samsung thing ..

didn't know they had been fined though his technically terms was apple break the old phones through updates lol .

I’ve been with iphone since they launched the “4” and to be honest I’ve got so used to how the iPhone works that when I try and use a mates android I just get annoyed with it and find it “not obvious” where apps and uses are laid out.

Just thought ide mention it, as mybe worth considering staying with what you are used to - “better the devil you know” and all that jazz!

Thanks for all you reply guys - really appreciate your time

Thank you and You are probably right there I'm so used to apple format now with iPhone and iPad I'd find it hard to adapt one the mechanics I use does some weekends and that for me to keep his hand in he is a workshop supervisor for a large company they supplied him with a Samsung and his own phone always been iPhone .

says he struggles with the Samsung sometimes .

Amazing bit of kit and so simple to use!

How do you find the huawei in general was looking at upgrading from an iphone to android looked at them and one plus was slightly worried about future updates with news reports Probably just worrying over nothing

I’m on the fence with this on, can’t decide if I like them or not, would need to see and feel them in person.

I think its also dependent on the make and model of the car don't think they would look good in say an old mondeo but would maybe be nice in like a range rover or something.  i think there pretty expensive though ...
