any thoughts on valeting machines /upholstery cleaners Ive used a Karcher one before which was fine but was borrowing it from a friend and its probably time he gets it back and I buy my own

I'm thinking probably a karcher or sealey

but always like to ask everyones thoughts and suggestions first .

Plus you could lie to them if you wanted to if it did sell with them. So I don't think it works tbh.

Yeah i know plus a customer could see it on more than one platform so you can never be sure it did sell through them

Sign up have a go they seem to be decent tbh. as far as im aware there free

Will have a look cheers I think there will be some sort of charge if you read there small print says we only make money when you do so there probs looking for some sort of fee or percentage once the car sells but don't know how this would work cause obv cars are advertised on other platforms etc  ..

I’m pretty sure it will sell off the front anyway, plus it is actually a nice car to drive so may I fact in keep it.

I’ll throw the dog in the back and put on a brown cardigan with some driving gloves..... I’ll feel right at home lol

It does actually look a nice car it will sell .would actually be a good car for dogs I used to have 2 borders collies till they passed away had an old 406 well newish 406 estate for them at the time was ideal.

It owes me £7k so I’ve just dropped it for £6995... I want it gone so if it doesnt sell for that then looks like I’m stuck with it haha.

Enjoy driving your new Volvo  seriously though hope it sells for you .

nothing worst getting stuck with a car .theres no right no reason to it though you could get  the same car next week and it would fly out or one flys out you go and get one the same and don't get a call .

  6. Put some white fixings in the front number plate

I know I'm being picky but my pet hate is when gb plates have been changed and blue fixings used in a normal plate esp in such a nice car..

Edit I agree on the tyre shine customers like clean wheels

that and clean fresh number plates can lift a cars appearance

Thank you david i remember dave on here saying snap on wasn't as good quality as they used to be in fact a few of my mechanics friends boxes rusted away runners stopped working etc

another guy i know bought a second hand mac and never had any bother with it

i looked at halfords ones too and ones from uk garage equipment.com matco i think  they were  but feel its time to get something decent for my own bits and bobs

the facom one has been ok had it 16 years now but a few of the drawer locks etc dont work now dad bought me it in 2003

actually missed a cheap snap on subaru box guy I buy cars for sometimes upgraded his and sold it for £800 before i heard

just looked at the teng tool kits they have increased in value over the years remember visiting a show years ago and seeing one for under £1000 now there about £3500-£5500 im getting old lol

hope you and your family are well ..

    how about you buddy?

I did check all of my ads seems like AT will be going through some teething issues changing sponsored to relevant .... most punters are clever enough to search low to high so I’m not convinced on the change over. The AT rep told me they are tailoring the site to suit the customers buying requirements (gearbox/colour/breast size etc) ... I replied so what about the £££ each month I’m paying you what about my needs and requirements.... stone cold silence I could hear a pin drop ... but as always AT has always made me the sales so i don’t have much of a choice, but I’m defo going to try and feed it back at my end of month call lol

Hows things going in general ? Amer

  14. Looking at replacing an old facom tool box I've got roll cab top box kind of thing

just wondering what the guys with workshops on here recommend .

Snap on Mac tools etc . Probably got a 1500 pound budget give or take a few hundred so would probably get a decent used box for that

    whats all your thoughts ..

    "She complained to DVSA"

    This is society today.

She suffered no loss or harm but had to make a complaint.

And gained an mot test past you would think she would just have re moted the car and moved on with her life

We used to use a garage and the owner was a right git, tried bending the testers arm to pass this and that all the time, the tester had enough one day and handed in his notice on his last day had another mate of the owner come in 4pm for his test and he also was a bit of a bully so the tester ticked almost every advisory he could the print off was almost 15 pages long put it in the car and left.

I like that too .
