I went straight onto gold with Walsall. Our Rep is decent chap aswell. In Regards to the OP. When i first started out i bought 3 cars all in a row by accident from a different auction site. Placed a bid on the app won the car put it back in my pocket and gone about my day hasnt closed the app down and carried on bidding. Later that day 3 more notifications of cars i won. Luckily all cheap shit boxes sold them on Facebook at a loss just to get rid. Pay the bill if you need the BCA account.
-
I started off with salvage cars but as you say was ending up spending more on them than they going through BCA still have 3 i cant shift. Might keep one as a courtesy car tbh.
-
Probably is still lying
-
Couldnt call it either way tbh there was loads of hot spots and literally no material left. He did say he was having trouble on the way up with some of the steep hills with the clutch slipping. Id lean towards done on purpose but honestly i don't car anymore.
-
So thanks for all your advice on this. Finally got the car back on Sunday due to both our schedules not lining up it took a while. I will say the clutch is well and truly F*CKED not sure if they have damaged it intentionally or if genuinely bad i dont recall it being this bad on the test drive or when i drove it. Im not sure how they even made it back up tbh. Checked over her garages list of 'issues' i think i would maybe agree to the front brake discs being a little bit worn but nothing major. Never the less new clutch back in it. New disks and pads all round. Bit of a clean up and we look good to go be back up for sale at the weekend. Might Advertise it for more as i know she has been watching my page since buying the car as she commented on a few other cars which had come and gone asking if she could have a look at them ......... NO THANKS TAKE YOUR REFUND OFF YOU GO.

First car in a week to fall within CAP for me. Purchased collecting tonight. Lets hope it isn't shit now
-
Its killing me having money to spend and not having anything to buy. Brought a few scrapers to break to keep me busy for a few weeks.

The vegan story is all to plausible as well Similar story to above customer said he was running late and turned up a little late with his PX which was cold. Turns out the thermostat switch was broken and as such overheating once it was sat running worked fine on the test drive and then turned it off once i got back. I learnt from this to always leave px cars running for a good few minutes before you go anywhere. Anyway the car was riddled with faults but still managed to fix it all and sell it last week for a tidy amount.
-
Its a strange time at the moment. Mental note take holiday this time next year.
-
Evey thing i have wanted this last week has gone for well over cap ( Sometimes nearly 2k over) I would love to know how some people make a money with the amount they bid. Although last week everything was dirt dirt cheap falling a decent bit below CAP. Hopefully everything starts getting cheaper again.

Love the old bmws is it an e30 or e36. I had an e36 4 door drift car for a couple of months before it met its demise with a wall and a friend who had used up all his talent. Was an awful shell to start with and the engine only did 5 laps before the temp gauge pegged at about 120. Probably got of lightly with the wall. Its crazy how the prices are going for any clean 3 door shells.

What track car do you run ?? In the process of building one up myself. Normal service will be resumed shortly and be back to the Mercedes show but good to see someone else taking the win for a change.

3 Sticky cars sold (Now if only i can sell those three convertibles) All took the cars straight away and paid by bank transfer. 1 new lovely PX in as well. How did everyone else do?
-
Car gurus for me seem to come in massive surges. Nothing from them for a month then all of a sudden 3 in 7 days.
-
I am hoping it is this. The car is a cheap banger for me to run round in for 12 months all going well i want out of it in 12 months for essentially costing me nothing. I cant tax the car online with the old green slip so hoping a new one will be more useful.
-
Interestingly enough i have just received a call from BCA saying they are posting me a log book for a car that was delivered last week. The interesting part that car came with a logbook so i am intrigued to see what arrives ...... 1 owner since new car so doubt its a duplicate.

help from members who have 25 cars (business help)
JA Trader replied to Blenheim Car Sales's topic in General Dealer Chat
Work smart not hard. We only have 13 cars in stock ourselves. Move X Collect everything. Family member valets them. We just MOT, take the photos and do the viewings.(And most the repairs) I would hate to do all the running around even though i sometimes collect the local cars from BCA. A self employed slave is an interesting choice but what type of person is working for £1000 a month ...... Get into bed with a good cleaner and use MOVEX for deliveries might cost you more than a £1000 a month but its less worries in my opinion. -
Ill have all of my stock round by Friday Not but genuinely that is a very good offer take it.
-
£500 margin on a 19k Car. I try to make that on the small £1500 - £2000 sales. No one is coming to your house to buy a 19k car with cash and lets be honest if they brought cash i would be even more concerned. I wish you sincere luck with your business venture but maybe start small.

We generally do okay with the time wasters but they have been out in force this month determined to waste my time.
-
Very Quiet. 2 Sold all month. Have our most up sale now at 9 should be closer to 12 by the end of the weekend and then im off on my holidays. Hopefully set ourselves up for a busy September.

Always smile. Always be polite. Always so no to there first offer without even thinking.
-
Missed a trick with that one Always remain professional in front of the customer. Once the front door is shut then its a different story.

I was so tempted but customer is always right especially when they are buying a car.
