Thanks for the info i like the look of the fog machine. I dont mind investing some money in something like this to keep around worth it in the long run. I am waiting for a response to my offer on a Ozone machine if they decline ill try a fog machine.

I use a spreadsheet. Simple easy to track.

Thanks. I have given it a wet vac and left it in the garage with the roof half open. Now my garage smells of smoke as well of the car

Had a bit of a mad moment yesterday afternoon and i have ended up with a convertible A4 (So stupid this late in the year) But it was really cheap and had amazing history. Anyway its a smokers car as well to top it all of. What do you suggest to get rid of the smell.

I had stopped using any other platform than car gurus for the last few months wanted to give them a proper try before i agreed to sign up for a package. Few leads a couple of sales but nothing amazing. Threw some of my stock that falls into the "uncertain Category" on ebay classifieds yesterday and 3 phone calls the same day to look at stuff this weekend...... Maybe its not quite im just not trying hard enough.

Sorry to go off topic on this one but thats very good numbers and a hell of an aim for me basically restocking yourself every month. Do you work alone or have a staff as well ? If your buy yourself i can see why you put so many hours in. Sorry for prying just trying to educate myself a little

Someone was looking out for me yesterday. New oil pressure switch fixed the oil light. The temperature light coming on was my own fault i had been changing some stuff on the car and put the wrong speedo back in it. So the temp light coming on was him turning the cruise control on ................. Before i get agro for changing the clocks there was a damaged element on the old one and the mileage isn't stored in the clocks on these cars its stored in the centre Nav unit. All fixed and back on his way.

Good to see that the big sites are moving there cars with the correct advertising. I take it based on your average sales you look to move around 30 cars a month ?

Out of interest how many cars do you both stock to be turning around these numbers ?

I think this is the thoughts of a lot of traders now. The prices for well spec and decent mileage ones are still very strong especially if it has that JCW badge on. Then at the same time there is loads in the market with to many miles so its easy to get hold of a parts car or 5. I have basically ended up with a second business breaking donor cars. Brought one this morning for the body kit alone shame its not an S though.

Indeed i reckon i have shifted 14/15 of these and this is my first two issues within two months of each other. Worst part is i really looked after the mate of mine on price so looks like ill be set to loose money on this one unless i can find a breaker with some toys to sell on. ill have a proper chat with him later see what he wants to do.

Yeah it is the "Buyers Remorse" mini is back in the garage just going through some cleaning to get it back up for sale. Shame as well this one i sold to my mate is the dogs danglies spec wise. Full leather, Nav, Panaroamic Roof, LSD, Heated screen and automatic lights and wipers. Worst comes to the worst i will throw an engine in it for him. Id like to try that one. Unfortunately i only delivered it to him on Sunday and i know he didn't have it insured till this morning when he called me on his way in. I love them make up 40% of my stock at any one time and are by far my best seller ( Although we occasionally have issues as per my buyers remorse post). Have had a really good run of them lately with no issues other than a timing chain tensioner - Easy fix. Just typical its the one that goes to a mate that is potentially knackered. Who dosent want 200bhp with no turbo lag and only weighing 1050kg

Sold a cooper s to a good mate over the weekend. He has just rang me to say oil light flashing and its overheating. Oil light flashing so likely blocked pick up pipe if im lucky no engine damage but then if its overheating it might be new engine time anyway

Actually Managed to win another one £1000 below cap. Never mind the fact its smoking like there is no tomorrow. Dont even think it was driven through the Hall I should point out i wanted it like this and was cheaper than i was hoping for aswell

My thinking here is hoping all the people looking at the car are thinking the same thing and it goes nice and cheap. Ill have £10 it still makes £200 over the cap

Sold my personal car within a few hours of listing it on Sunday so that's something. Everything else is silent. 5 for the month to date two of them being to family and friends so not exactly brilliant profit.

I have the same car on my radar as well. Cant figure it out 10 services 8 main dealer so its being used and serviced somewhere and the 8 main dealer suggests its somewhere with a Renault garage. Maybe been used in one of the channel islands with not MOT needed since new ???

Doing this to myself right now 3 cars this morning all fairly presentable and nice stock went through well under cap but there is one in around 50 lots that is just a little nicer. Watch it go way over cap and the first 3 where cheap.
