  1. Although I do the repairs in house it is a separate business entity so company a bills company b etc. Accountants advised me it was the best way to go with things.
  2. Thought it would be interesting to find out what everyone pays for their prep costs, I’ll list my basic ones as follows; Mechanical repairs £35+vat per hour Mot’s: £25 Wheel refurb full car (powdercoated) giving them the car £200 inc vat Diamond cut refurb giving them the car £360 inc vat Valeting: in house Paintwork: £100 a panel on average
  3. Transport seems expensive till you run your own lorry, I don’t actually know how it’s profitable for these companies when a transporter trailer new is £100k+ then the cost of the actual truck which can be upwards of 70k plus fuel, wages, 6 weekly inspections etc Our trucks cost about 4k a year in maintenance alone and they don’t do a huge mileage I think the price you are quoted is reasonable
  4. I had it today from some foreign gentleman who was in viewing our old Porsche Cayenne. Needless to say he didn’t buy.
  5. The engines are vw but the gearboxes are balls
  6. Not being on mid does not mean they are not insured though?
  7. Have the garage done a pressure test on it since?
  8. Will free next day delivery be included with my amazon prime?
  9. Not sure that would work, a private punter can’t claim a private punter, there is no comeback in a private sale. Also as far as I’m aware if a van is invoiced to a company there is no comeback as there is no rights for a business to business sale? Or so our local trading standards told a friend of mine who bought a recovery truck from a dealer.
  10. I think you’ve done more than enough, I would speak to lawgistics for correct legal advice but I’d say you’ve been more than reasonable.
  11. I wouldn’t have been able to not laugh in their faces
  12. We need pictures of your breasts in order to fully understand you situation
  13. Ask the customer to present his original bill of sale? If he doesn’t have it your in the clear

It’s overpriced crap, had it thought it was more designed for main dealers and car supermarkets, it was telling me to buy insignias etc which aren’t great sellers for us.
  15. Dingbro who are our local parts suppliers
  16. A real autel with a uk warranty is over the double the price of eBay though mine was well over a grand.
  17. If it’s the 170bhp they are bad for injectors, have a diesel specialist test them.
  18. I sold one of these a year and a bit ago, was a 1.0 4 speed auto and it has to possibly be the worst slowest car o have ever driven, if the police were on foot I wouldn’t of risked a chase. I had to deliver the car to Aberdeen and made a joke with a lady friend that if I got more than 100mph she would have to reveal her boobs, let’s just say despite slip streaming down hills I didn’t even get to see cleavage
  19. Get someone with a multimeter and or a probe to check resistances etc when under load and not under load?
  20. Locals? Take it Geography wasn’t your strong point in school, I haven’t heard anyone consider Australia local, not like popping down to the shops
  21. My sisters 19 plate has already broken down with 3k mikes on it with fuel pump failures etc
  22. Try getting someone with vag com or odus to reset the parameters and relearn the gears, I find it makes a noticeable difference to them.
  23. I completely agree with your points about aa! It takes ages to organise pictures properly especially when doing it from a phone.
