Lots of clues given about the tires but not how the tires might cause an issue.... If the "inside" of the tyre is put on the outside Or the direction of the tyre is opposite It will make the noise you're describing. Look at all the tires carefully...and read Whats written on there

Your favourite auction bidding strategy...
ExCouncilJobsworth replied to Nick M.K.'s topic in General Dealer Chat
1200 to 3600... It helps when you know some basic common mechanic skills...and a mate with a ramp Didn't know you could get motors inclusive of fees for 100... Which auction do you go to? -
Your favourite auction bidding strategy...
ExCouncilJobsworth replied to Nick M.K.'s topic in General Dealer Chat
Nope the live online one not the commission one. Proxy bid. Sometimes i got stuff very cheap and sold it for 3 times what i paid for it. 90% of what i have bought is online. -
Your favourite auction bidding strategy...

My max Im prepared to pay online usually pre sale. It saves the bidding wars It's a waste of time attending or viewing live online as the prices are sky high. -
Go back and check your pics? Am i the only one that keeps old sold stock pics? As well as the advert text (in a word document) I usually take loads of photos and then select the ones i will use and keep them in a separate folder and the additional ones will be in a sub folder...

BCA phone app finally released

I thought there was on the iPad? I've been thinking to buy one... -
I wouldn't normally bother but he kept messaging me for days. Mon "would you take 1400" Thurs "you still got it m8? 1450?" Sun "has that guy cum bought it? If not i give you cash today?"

It's finally here! Well overdue for a company as big as BCA. Whilst you can search and track vehicles, I have not been able to find a way to search by "saved searches" (the presaved ones you can simply select on the website) It's better than nothing but disappointed that you cannot leave live online bids or take part in live auctions. They only allow that on iPads and not Android tablets. BCA seems to be really slow in providing multi interfaces.

Your favourite toy / project car
ExCouncilJobsworth replied to ExCouncilJobsworth's topic in General Dealer Chat
I watched some of your videos aka Mike Brewer lol Your approach in the video and the way you are as a person is a huge enough selling point in itself. Wouldn't be surprised if people buy your cars just because of you alone and not the cars lol One of the key things that people look at (indirectly) is the seller. If anyone watches The Apprentice a couple of weeks ago when Jasmine tried selling art pieces to the clients of the black girl and the one with the squeaky voice failed because she was shite and they even said they want to speak to the other 2 and only bought it because the black girl did the sale. -
I once received a daft offer (by text of course) and my reply was: Please come take it I need the cash...my address is: House name - c0ck house Wanker Lane, Wake-up-Town, Get-A-Life County Postcode N0 8BB And his reply was "hehe nice one mate"

I always wanted a Volvo S60 or V70 T5 on a 2006-08 model with 250/260bhp and fancy tuning it for a bit more power and reckon it could push 300bhp They seem to be a bit hard to get hold of now. Had a D5 in stock and it was a pleasure to drive. It will be my little (power) toy... What have you guys have / had / want as your little project big boys toy?

He might strike a deal with BCA. He may even get independent engineers to do your PDIs and photos.. (Get BCA to redo photos for you if you got this Cazoo Elite account) In essence you become a middle man the car gets delivered directly to the customer from BCA site (if it sells that quick) thus reducing your stock / space at your premises = lower costs for you + time saved So on Mon you won an Audi A3 at auction you got 3 days to pay then 3 days to collect on a Gold card (more days if you got black and platinum). So rather than arrange delivery or collect from BCA - later on Mon or early Tues BCA send you photos. You do the Cazoo ad on Tues. (You still got your 3+ days collection but you haven't "lost" your 3+ days of payment because Mr Cazoo has got a deal in place to favour dealers) so you got 6+ working days from Tues. If it sells then you can get it delivered...directly from BCA to customer. Of course there will be the moaners and rejecters but the AD system works. In the meantime you save on PDI collect prep times etc. Of course this will apply for somewhat decent motors with an AA report or cazoo equivalent. If that makes sense? (I might be losing the plot)

It will work 100% He's looking to create an All in One platform unlike AT eBay etc. There's currently little sites out there that offer private rentals to people. He will include this in his site aka the big fish the big daddy! In terms of sales he will have a rating system. As most of you have pointed out AD sells by videos. Exactly that. 5* seller will provide endless photos a video and will have 99% positive feedback. The higher your rating the more chances punters picking your cars over a little jobsworth like me with 2* Again, those of us with stock that sits there for months on end may think "hmm why not put this out on a rental?" and you might well be TEMPTED too if the car has been sitting for months and it didnt cost you much of course. (You might disagree now... But people change views over time AND when the offer is there and it's tempting you will give it a shot. How many times have we done this? Remember who trusted internet banking at first?) This guy has a point - retail is closing down and closing down fast. People have become lazy (and fat) and shop online. Just look on facebook guys - people put comments up in market place and groups "want car for £2000 what can i get?" this is another sign of laziness....in fact these people want free delivery and the car to come to them....exactly what this chappie is offering. This Mr Jobsworth has studied business studies as well as planning... And in business there is something called market manipulator... He will manipulate the market. Another MM is Mike Ashley. He has proposed a 20% tax on sales made online to encourage retailers to retain outlets and save the retail world (instead of shops closing down). Its a bloody well thought idea!

It depends on the type of sale you go to. Cgr trade and multi vendor tat will have the smokers... My personal hate is the auctioneer ranting at 400mph on full volume and you go deaf. I rather buy online and it saves all that hassle. I bid on the cars i want as well which isnt a huge variety. Newcastle customer service and attitude is 10/10 Bedford, P'bro, Wolves are on similar par Hate the stupid one customer at a time at Perry Bar - you got your keys and wait for the jobsworth to take you one (or 2 if your lucky) at a time to your car Enfield - worse customer service and rude staff in the yard. They all seem dismissive on giving you the keys and moving cars for you. The blonde milf behind the counter is ok when she isnt on the time of the month Let's not forget half of the north London private buyer ghetto turns up on a Saturday auction with kids...

Dealer working from home vs Neighbour (problem)
ExCouncilJobsworth replied to premi-motor's topic in General Dealer Chat
Sort of similar to my experience dealing from home but much less cars. Neighbours that have common sense see the plus side: The road looks busy so if thieves target the area they might not burgle because they will think too many people are at home. This is especially the case when most people work 9 to 5...and homes are empty during the day. This was the case in my area. Men in vans would drive around. Pretending to be scrap metal collectors or contractors in unmarked vans (van advertising is free so why drive in unmarked hmm) Well they did collect junk... Also collected other items on your drive that would be valuable (that you didnt want collected) PLUS PLUS PLUS They would gather intel on Who's at home... And yep homes did get broken into One of our neighbours (a big chunky lad) used to work at home doing insurance type work. Always having a fag in the garden... His presence alone deterred many thieves off (dont know how well he'd do in a fight...had a squeaky voice But in the past when neighbours have gone on hols... I would park cars outside their drive so it appears they're at home....and they were thankful! Be considerate and the world is your oyster (dont block drives, rev engines, have punters park considerably, make a neighours house look occupied when they're away etc) and you'll get on fine! Thank you mate. I was waiting to join on a suitable topic that I can contribute to rather than "Am new how can i get rich quick?" I learnt very quickly on colour, engine size, vehicle type, location etc and had some sh!te losses but you learn. I sell as much as i can but market has been slow since Oct as most of you have pointed out in previous threads. Got a Jag x type am stuck on. Had a similar model in aug and it went in a day lol however this one is down for nearly two months without much interest. -
Audi A3 1.8tfsi 2009 in silver... A virgin mistake...it was about a grand under cap...thought wow a bargain lol Had it for 5 months ended up getting a new water pump (the little crappy hard to get to pump) in month 4 lol

Dealer working from home vs Neighbour (problem)
ExCouncilJobsworth replied to premi-motor's topic in General Dealer Chat
I hope you raised this. Over the years i picked up a nag to identify comments from the same person under a different alias... The language and punctuation are usually the biggest give aways and the way a comment is structured lol Its sad but reality is it can have a detrimental impact on genuine people whether its for a business or a house extension. And the new grads in planning jobs are clueless than clueless to idenitfy traits! Oh my bad. I thought you meant show them at home...they're happy and then you say "lets go to my office" and they think what? Lol But it makes sense in the order you said. Would you park at home then? I have thought myself to get a storage place but continue to trade at home. These self storage places are expensive if they allow cars and its usually the container types which i feel about... Some one could lift the container with your stock in it Ps how do i access more emojis? -

Thank you AD. As said i have been a silent viewer of the forum...i have a confession to make... Anyone told you that you have resemblance to Mike Brewer? Lol! As a punter i would be weary "why is he taking me to a secluded spot? Am i going to get mugged?"
