  2. No such thing as a free lunch - there you go, proven wrong
  3. I love vans and have always done well (when I had the pitch) but now I'm a home trader, replacing my 12 or so car stock with vans would be a step too far I fear for the neighbours.
  4. I have often wondered why BCA place all floor mats in the boot of the cars. Is it becuase the carper underneath looks in better nick than the mats (often the mats are new)?

  8. I always (in every aspect of business) deal directly with people. I also sent a letter thanking them for sorting things out. Life is give and take, we all complain about shit but rarely commend when things work out. I try and treat good and bad with the same approach.
  9. Personally, two Assured claims, two payouts - no complaints but I do have a decent relationship with Wolverhampton BCA
  10. Good point well made, bloody auto description didn’t pick up the fact I increased the price (twice) thanks for the heads up

  12. Thanks Matt - just placed my order. Given up on Ebay and not going to renew Shpock (worth a try and sold a few but the people - wow)
  13. Just trying to call them and they say there is a technical difficulty
  14. Cheers James What's the minimum sign up (term) with AT. I have given up on Ebay and am debating signing up with AT but don't want to be tied in for 12 months in case it tuens out to be shite
  15. Where are the straplines Matt? I notice other people have them but I cannot find where to put them (I'm on a poverty PAYG AT)
  16. Welcome Stu Firstly, a nice introduction, very articulate and albeit you're some way off, it is good to have some future vision, a goal. website looks professional and clean. Yes, you'll need finance on cars in that price range. For video appraisals, wear something smart casual, not footie shirts and shorts. Good luck
  17. 2 working days I think, so if you sell late on a Friday = 4 days 1.75% commission but no monthly charges.
  18. £5k limit per transaction, £50k daily accumulative limit. Just signed up for IZettle as recommended by my bank, Santander. Bank transfer still my preferred payment method
  19. Just done Audi A4 TDI (2009) - timing belt, tensioners, water pump, oil and filter - £300 all in
  20. How did you vac turn out?
  21. Again, low ball them. That 630i convertible will probably appeal to many whom want a cheap cab/flash. I low balled a PX 207CC (against Qashqai) two weeks ago because I didn't want it and I still had the hateful 308CC. Anyway, they couldn't be bothered and accepted my valuation. I sold the car within 48 hours (+£900) and took another PX against that (same scenario on old Clio) and drew another +£400 off that. Re rapid sale of PX 207 CC: Following many disapointed "sorry mate it's sold but I do have a 308CC" - sold that too (at long last) Just saying..............
