  1. It would be easier to say what sport I do like than ones I don't. There are two, one I do (occassionally) and one I watch (constantly) Boxing and Sailing. The rest bores me especially football - I don't get it.
  2. Got drunk at a BBQ Friday night (home at 4am), lost Saturday. Sunday, went in garden, lit a fire and sank a few beers. It was perfect
  3. I generally agree with phone calls but in cases like this, written correspondence can work in your favour. You cannot deny what has been written from your own device but you can deny what has been said.
  4. @EPV had something similar from memory. I think he had it fixed. Then it got stolen?
  5. Just plain old jam donut for me. Krispy Kreme are not my thing - in case anyone is offering.
  6. I used to do that too......when I watched Big Brother

  8. Try Ayce Systems in Keighley. Expensive but comprehensive kit. https://www.aycesystems.com/smart-repair-products/fibrerite-interior-repair-kit.php
  9. if your living in 3 acres you can afford to stand outside and enjoy a marlboro As in two thirds not 2 or 3
  10. Just Googled price of fags (gave up nearly 4 years ago). Tesco Malboro Lights = £11.39 for 20. I smoked at least 40 (but often into 3rd pack) and better half around 20. So conservatively, we were buying 3 -4 packs a day between us. That means, in todays money we would be spending between £1025.10 and £1366.80 a month. My mortgage is just under a grand. For me though, more than money is the horrible smell which is now completely gone (never smoked in current house). Oh and I only have about 2/3 acre.
  11. We both know how it works, clearly. The amount of people who I have tried to explain it to is incredible (not OP, I don't mean that). People who think I draw £2k out of everything and must be having it off. Then I explain how even on cars I have lost money on, I still have to pay the VAT margin because I still sold it for more than the hammer price (but lost on heavy recon).
  12. If there is no VAT showing (usually on margin stock), add the £72 quid to your purchase price. It is then excluded from your gross margin where VAT margin is calculated. Usually Vat Q cars; If your fees are plus VAT, you cannot add these to your purchase price because you will be reclaiming the VAT.
  13. It can be Dealer but the forum provides some great support. Be careful who you choose. Remember, if you do use a new MOT station, if it fails on anything, that information will be available for everyone to see forever. Also, if an engineer is aware of the reasons for a second opinion, they may either decide not to get involved or be whiter than white, in orther words - grey areas become failures just to cover their backs. I wish you luck and my guess is you will win. I am with @BHM though, I would have remedied those suspension components, or may be even offer this as part of your dosier. "Judge, the independent report states that the vehicle is in roadworthy condition and any shortcomings are borne out of fair wear and tear for a vehicle of this age and mileage. As a gesture of goodwill, even though those components are subject to fair wear and tear, I am prepared to replace XYZ in order to offer some form of resolution."
  14. I am looking for a car for a customer (he has laready bought 4 off me in the last 18 months). Found one at BCA (WBAC) and then found the same car being advertised by a private on AT. I guess he gave up trying to sell it and sent it to WBAC. It made more than the private ad through UKCG once fees were factored in.
  15. I would swap all my coffee ones for your orange ones.
  16. I tried DA once then thought, oh - it's the new Ebay. Not been on since and never looked at Rovers (well not for 15 years).
  17. I've had them gone before I have even collected them but conversely, I have had one in stock for 9 months - nothing wrong with it, just one of those things.
  18. I drink so much, it should be available on my pre paid prescription.
  19. Welcome, good luck to you. I can't tolerate the bargain hunters, much prefer the lumpier stuff and the more realistic, polite, educated customer they attract. How is it that a buyer on a £10k car accepts the odd small imperfection (I often hear "Well, it is to be expected isn't it, it's not brand new"), yet the £1,000 ers want to know when the belt was last changed, how long it has been in stock, will I swap for their X, the tyres don't match etc and they often bring their own "expert." They seem to call/email/message at rediculous hours of the day and cannot put a logical sentence together and always "know their rights." This is why I am so keen to drop all my old sub £5k crap and move into lumpier territory. The finance comms these attract equate to selling the odd cheapie in any case. It is my intention to offer nothing below £5k once the crap has sold on (unless coming in PX).
  20. Never tried it, I'm a bit of a square but vaping (as does smoking and alcohol) does reduce stress IMO. If you've never smoked/vaped......don't. You can't miss what you haven't had.
  21. Take up vaping I don't have sugar though.
  22. I am a Vaper but I am not offended at all because I agree, I look stupid. That said, it got me from buying 3 packs of Malboro Lights a day. My wallet and lungs don't care how stupid I look. I do get embarassed though becuase it makes me look like a chav.
