Ha Ha, I love his outlook.....

Guys, I have to post this as I am getting withdrawal symptoms from my daily chuckle at BHMs comments and overall very sound advice. Come back BHM, we miss you....

Wow, 6 bikes, what have you got ?. I have had a love affair with 2 wheels all my life. Last bike a 2016 GSXR1000 and now to the BMW. My son wouldn't talk to me when I pulled up on it, Ha Ha. The sad thing is I my prefer riding the old BM to any of the sports bikes I have owned over the years. I really must be getting old,

ha ha, sounds like a winner...

Hi Guys, I have been offered a Hyundai Coupe 2002 1.6 FSH really cheap. Have no idea how they sell and as I trade from home I don't want to risk taking up valuable space. Any input would be appreciated

Picked it up last week Tradex, 2003, 32,000 miles and touch wood the ABS seems ok. I actually like riding the old thing. Also added benefit is it has gone on my Traders policy.

No car at all now, brought an old 2003 BMW R1150RS ( UGLY AS SIN ) to use when needed and it allows me another parking space.

BHM, the truth of the matter is that most people who have climbed the corporate ladder and earning a very nice salary would give their eye teeth to be in your position. You are master of your own destiny. I know there are a massive amount of variables that dictate our incomes but ultimately you will always be able to generate an income. If a major company changes their Uk strategy and totally removes a department from the business these guys would be fooked.

Buying and selling vehicles privately - not sure about tax?
DBDlloyds replied to CaitlinB's topic in General Dealer Chat
Hi CaitlinB, Yes the profit you make on each car goes towards your taxable income... -
They sell really well but I struggle to make a decent profit out of them by the time you have put through an M.O.T and prepped them.

To be fair it is good but the accountant is pushing it because it makes his life easier. They can have direct access to your accounts.

Really good, sold 60% of my stock..... BUT, I only had 5 in stock and sold 3 ha ha....

Hope so Ian, I pay £43,70 for a 21 days on a pay as you go basic... This certainly doesn't give me priority viewing. I have sold more cars via EBay than Autotrader and at half the daily rate. I am of course a very small fish with a small stock so I can understand it is a different story for the boys that have more cars. The thing is Autotrader is by far the best platform. It just isn't as attractive for me with my business as it is currently structured as I cannot enjoy all of the added benefits that a monthly package can give me. Cheers Dean.

Lovely, thanks guys for all of your input.

Great thanks Linktrader, I will give this a look.

Happy Easter all, Just a note to ask peoples recommendations on a great one stop cleaner - restorer for graying plastic exterior trim and tyres. I had a small bottle of something called Vynyl trim cleaner that did everything brilliantly. Unfortunately there is no make on the bottle and as I was given it I don't know where it was purchased from. I am looking for a matt sheen effect , not wet look. I think the product was solvent based. I am now on my third bottle of other makes I have ordered and nothing seems to be any good. Many thanks Dean.....
