See you there in the morning, my next door neighbours house is up for sale, I shall steal the for sale sign and paint it with white paint and write on it in black paint... ”Autotrader = Thieves” Actually... can you pick me up, I sold my car this morning on Autotrader.

LIKE. There’s a subculture of morons cretins and imbeciles. One of the first things you learn as a child is to listen and always read the question (at least twice). These subhuman types never even got to that stage... absolute pond-life and they are getting worse.

My experience with insurance companies is that they tend to want it all their own way and will try and wiggle on payout if possible so make sure your paperwork is all tight, approx 10 yrs ago when I worked from premises I had 2 right offs in quick sussesion with named people on my policy who worked for me and they tried every trick in the book to wriggle on payout on the second one( I thought I was going to be 14k out of pocket for a while) and my premiums jumped 4K a year for a while, it did not matter that the 10 years previous to this incidents was claim free. it tends to be a one way street in fact some of the treatment I have had with insurance companies over the years is shocking

It is "Uninsured Loss Cover" that is beneficial in this circumstance, clearly it is a provable loss of money, and some sort of indication of next years and the year afters extra costs would be claimable too

Better the devil you know. Finding a reliable paint shop which is reasonably priced isn’t easy, hang on to him. Your prices seem reasonable to me, my guy is £100 a panel but he feathers it in properly and £150 a bumper (off body). The price reduces as more work is required. He’s always really busy... if I was going to expand I would move into paint.

Your being a skin flint in fact you might be robbing him even . Hes not robbing you at that money . Especially if hes a good painter . Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten if your customers cant see his work , hes a keeper .

That'll be the RNF especially if the "Little Tykes" is using Bosch management OK, lets be serious for 5 seconds regarding RNF FWIW most Mfrs use RNF these days, that's how (on a decent Diag Machine you get "historic" codes), which of course certain Machines don't show .................. The fault has disappeared after a few Drive Cycles, so the ECU, (if it's one that is capable) will then file the Code in the Historic Codes. Mercedes and others call this the "Event Log", and Star Diagnostic, (SDS), shows a little (f) for a historic / intermittent , a big (F) for current code, and for a really old or certain other stuff (f) becomes (i) for Info, which is still found in the Event Log. This is how a mfr knows if you've been playing with a cheap / lesser Diag Machine, because although you might have cleared a present Code, it will still be stored in the Event Log, along with over revved etc etc, (all Make dependent of course) My Snap On never used to show Historics, which is why I went for all the Dealer Level Kit, but I notice since Snap On update in Jan that it now does show some Historics on some models Still what the fuck do I know, I know fuck all
