My guy will do it for slightly less but with so much damage I will probably take this to B Trim in Enfield. They will remove the piece(s) and replace it with brand new material. Around £120 depending how many pieces need replacing. The downside: they'll need the seat or the car for 2 days.

Yes of course, totally normal with a main Dealer PX, the vehicle registers take a while to be updated. I can completely reassure you of the cars genuineness, please call me to discuss fully. Cheers Nick @ "guaranteed happy cars"

You are like me, an easy decisive buyer. Imagine a world where all punters buy cars like that :-) Meanwhile: “Hi Nick, thank you for the close up video. We are ready to pay a deposit to hold the car but we have done an AA car check (which we always do when buying a used car) and an alert has come up regarding a previous plate and outstanding finance ??. Are you able to provide the VIN chassis number, V5 serial number and V5 document issue date as these have been asked for the additional checks by the AA Car Check. Many thanks.”

The £14 ones from Aldi / Lidl are very nearly as good as the CTEK - and at such a low price you can afford a few of them to have on the go at the same time

I think it’s luck of the draw with judges. I have been to court twice and both times they were very reasonable as they could see we did everything in our power to solve the issue but both times the customers were unreasonable. Equally I know of those who should never of lost a particular case and have. I don’t feel you have anything more to lose going to court than settling out of it. If you can prove she drove the car to destruction the judge may kick it out.

Just to avoid pissing people off it maybe worth putting into the ads of cars you're looking to trial this with "this car is only available to buy on finance". If they call up or message and haven't read it at least you have it to fall back on.

Personally I'd be all over that bloke for a £100 repair on that.

It's a Volvo - Volvo buyers want proper cars even at lesser end, so personally I'd get it done properly and that clearly needs a new piece. If you get that bodged it will look horrendous. £100 is no brainer to me.

Inflated, pretend warranties to suppress VAT.People were getting caught with that one in the 80’s.Basically it is fraud and HMRC charge a lot extra for that.

Big if though. What if you turn down the initial buyer and then the car sits for 2 months...

Would you honestly turn people away willing to pay full whack in person though? Seems silly to me.

I've checked with Lawgistics and you can sell only to finance buyers if this is what you want to do. Mark, how do you have a LIKE button? I have the Edit back but no Like.
