Similar to us, mk4 Astra's and Focus's used to be our bread and butter! If you got a clean Astra estate it would sell like a hot cake!! Wouldn't touch a (newer) Astra now with a barge pole!!

But if you use the green slip to tax it for trade abuse doesnt that render the green slip useless? So when your billy tries to tax it when he buys it will it let him tax it or not? I thought the green slip could only be used once?

Agreed, maybe I should have said sub 1k have the most unrealistic expectations. On the subject we've gone a good two months without any noticeable screams for stuff to be fixed under warranty. Suddenly had half a dozen in the last week, same every year around xmas but a lot more are trying it on this time around for stuff the rest of us would be too embarrassed to pick up the phone about. You can tell whatever money these chancers have is going under the tree and not on the lump sitting in the road.
