Does it matter? Nowadays the auctioneer is either going to run the arse off them or usually there’ll be a sea of bidders’ hands anyway.

I hope he’s not a dealer. You can imagine getting a call a couple of weeks after selling from the customer asking where the tree is?

Don’t. You will lose your like and edit buttons and some photo upload options. In return you will read how he only has an automatic licence.

I never go straight in as some auctioneers are a bit cheeky and if 5 bidders all raise their hand at say a £1000 initial bid instead of taking it as one bid they’ll count along the raised hands up to £1500. I’ve seen that a few times, wrong in my opinion.

Comission bid? Dear oh dear... They will always bid up to that max or often start there so you end up missing it for £50 and missing out on the ££££ under book bargains.

I think I'd better come back to this post and say THANK YOU to all of you. I am now doing on my own. So, I have to withdraw this 200K offer. I am working alone, but I am not alone because of you guys and this forum. THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

I had a trader ring me on a car we just bought, he had missed the auction and wanted me to accept a £400 drink on a £10k car. When I told him no it's hard enough to find good stock, he then went on to tell me how amazing it feels to have a car sold overnight, doesn't feel amazing at £400 I told him. Sold it a week later full price with a lovely PX.

You had a low ball offer from someone off eBay and you’re still seething? Yesterday my trusted garages set fire to one of my cars. It’s a long story but the story still ends with a giant hole in the engine bay where an engine used to be. Accidents happen and i’d forgotten about it a few hours later. You could always just delete his email and forget about him.
