Ha. Love it. I just got ‘the glare’. This is typical of ‘other’ requests also. ;o)

My local NatWest is like this. Originally 5 tills then 4, 3 now its just two cashiers and some awful machines that never work. Although there is now a large reception desk like a hotel with two ladies always sitting there txting their husbands and fending off customers trying to jump the queue; and a floorwalker asking if "you wouldn't be better off using the machines instead of queing". Banking used to be a good job, back in the day only grammar school kids got jobs in a bank. But now it seems to be mostly sales driven, with my own branch having two mortgage/loan advisors sitting there waiting for customers pen in hand. Sad

That's brill! Yeah I'm often 'The Sales Prevention Officer' too. I've said it before and I'll say it again - if they're a pain when buying, they'll be an arse afterwards.

why not inspect your cars before you take them for the mot i get complete respect from my mot station because cars are fully sorted before they go times money and if you want a discount trade mot then respect the mot mans time and not have him do an extended essay finding all the advisories categories required on the machine as he writes you out a failure chit i left my last mot station because the man with the hat told me he was going to charge me retest fees even though its easier to spot an albatross than me get a failure chit with regards driving a car from the mot station that flags a dangerous the law doesnt change and your insurance is invalid anyway if you did knowingly drive a car in such a condition

It will be interesting to see how diesel prices go at the block......I think over 8 year old stuff will struggle to get bids, however if up to 5 year old stuff takes a dive,it could be a good opportunity.

    I'm currently hovering between a 57 Plate Renault Grand Scenic (Luxury ) and a 2008 5dr Corsa D.

i'm with Barclays too, but to avoid commission charges pay it into your personal account and then transfer it over. It's what I do and the staff on the counter couldnt care less.
