Re Priced UP

Recommended Posts

Had four cars a little to long in my opinion , thought Bugger it I'll put them up , always works when I get that fuzzy feeling in my head

1 , £12,495 to £12,995 , =6 weeks

2 , £12, 295 to £12,695 =5 weeks

3 , £4,795 to £4,995 =4 weeks

4, £3,290 to £3,495 =9 weeks

That was two days ago , AT shown increased attention on all 4 Web site trackers shown increased attention too .

Today we have sold all four cars before 11am £1,100 better off and they never chipped us . Even got two bottles of wine and a box of chocolates :)

As I've said before , Funny old trade at times  .

Anyone do this trick on a regular basis , Customers know best sometimes .

I love repricing up.

My AT rep recently said that on one ad I did 28 price changes in 3 months :-)

A car CAN look too cheap and hence the target buyer will miss it completely.

Nice one David - I put my prices up at least if not more often than down = reassuringly expensive and all that = proper punters not bargain hunters

It sometimes works depending upon the type of stock it is.

My wife asked that:lol:

They said i was a nice guy and not a salesman :D , They had some bad experiences with pushy boys at big outlets

So the chocolates were a genuine gift , But my wife has stolen them :(

Daughter in law took the wine

Haha, yeah no chance holding onto chocolates with women around. Still, you're £1100 better off, so :)

I'm a nice girl and not pushy. Never even got a Mars bar lol.
