Knackered New(ish) Car

Recommended Posts

Just seen this elsewhere. Do Mercedes run a 'not perfect' auction like VWFS ?

161,000mile but look at the state of it

I wonder if it’s had a dog in it

Several i’d say, along with various other farmyard animals

That photo just reminded me when I bought a pair of ex motability Zafiras from blackbush about 15+ years ago. I made the mistake of not checking the interiors. When they turned up, one was ok apart from the obligatory piss stains on the front seats and stinky underwear in the boot that all motability cars seemed to have. However the second car simlply had one of  the worst interiors I have ever seen considering it was just 3 years old. It looked like a farmer had been using it to cart livestock around.Indescribable.Full of sheeps, and dog hairs, donkey & chicken shit etc. Bit of door trim, and air vents all chewed up etc. Took a week to valet, we even had to take out the dash pod, and take it apart as somehow there were hairs inside the speedo dials too. Amazingly it pulled round quite well in the end.

I'm clearly the only one that thinks it isn't too bad. New chair from a breaker and a good valet.

If I was doing over a 1000 miles a week looking after my company car wouldn't be a priority...I might get my fat passenger a gym membership though!
