If he's on his last go then I'd advise spending at Ford, but the last few I've done have been OK

LOL, don't think I'll earn that much at it ;)

I've just recently bought myself a few new Workshop goodies, including the V serial Decoder, and an Autel Hand Held TPMS Sensor Reader / Diagnoser / Programmer.

I can program Factory TPM Sensors, (very expensive) with the Dealer Machines I have, but for the stuff I don't have Dealer Kit for, and also for Programming the cheaper pattern TPMS Sensors the Autel is a must have.................

Our Local Muppet Tyre "Fitters" are always breaking the bloody things, or mixing the Rims / Sensors up,. then they send the Customer to me to sort 'em out

For future radio codes you can buy them for cheap on eBay. You just need to remove the radio and get the serial code.

PS. You don't need to remove the radio on Fords from the past 10 yrs

There are secret menu tricks to reveal the serial code - Google for specific models

Cheers for that! Actually yeah just came across that in a Ford Sync. It didn't occur to me that that's the serial code for the radio!

Press and Hold #1 and #6, keep holding, it will scroll through some other numbers then near the end it will say V###### , you have to be quick to catch it, or do it again .........................

That is the serial number required for the code generator s/w

Yes there is a guy on EBay here :- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Radio-Unlock-Code-M-V-Serial-Escort-Fiesta-Focus-Mondeo-Transit/291745224323?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Does them for 99p, you get them within 5 minutes, he's the one I have used in the past, perrrrrrrrfect ;)

He will be a lot quicker than me if I'm busy in Workshop, ;)

I did Just Looking's basically to help him out on a Sunday, as I was on my server doing other stuff. but I'm not that interested in doing them all day long for £4 a time, I was joking in the above post ;)

Just used the eBay service, 99p and the code arrived in less than a minute, worked fine. Can’t go wrong!

I found my local Ford main dealer very helpful ( parts dept) some occasions just gave them the reg number and other times the serial number, they gave the code for free.

Yes, also helps if you use them regularly. But Ford have had a restructure on parts department as it's now called Parts Plus and my Ford parts delivery depot has moved from the one I usually use.
