Have a go, guess the car in the attached photo. And be specific...

The bonnet line is wrong for an A3/4/5/6 (Looks like a Mercedes)

Mirrors aren’t Mercedes though, look like an Audi

Got be a Q. I originally thought Q7, as that’s the obvious thing to trade in for i3!

Chrome round the bumper indicates an S-line.

Is everyone looking on our website where it says Most Popular Brands and assumes it's one one them :-)

David, you are onto something here, kind of close but not quite.

Ok. There you go. An everyday car that you see on every corner.

If you are looking to increase the effect of your Facebook page something like this guessing game works a treat. People tend to share and tag quite a lot. Especially if there is also a giveaway involved.

Would have never guessed a passat GT, not from the pics you posted.

But good idea re Facebook game to build interest and shares etc. Creates interaction which the Facebook bots like so your posts are more visible.

She’s been turned down for the finance

I regularly get the whiff of bullshit from the big talkers in the auction hall.

Here I’m beginning to smell a familiar aroma.......

This thread is a blatant form of peacocking in my eyes.

Yes BHM I frequently hear bullshit tennis too at the auctions.

Good work turning it quickly Nick.

I don't think there is anything BS to selling a car that quickly we get some that fly in and out and some that sit here for ages. Sometimes someone is in market and looking you car drops into their search criteria and they act fast to buy it.

Tradevet, you are welcome to call me and we'll have a chat, my personal mobile number is 07736677089.

BHM, I have attached a copy of the response from my advertising on Autotrader, my advert went live on 30 Apr, deposit taken 3 May, advert stopped on 6 May.

It absolutely wasn't meant to be until this last post of mine, now that I've posted it (in response, mind) it DOES look like peacocking. My apologies to everyone for this but at least it pointed out a really hot model to stock to those interested.

Thanks Rory, some of your higher value sales are even faster!

My customer was a cash buyer unfortunately. Do you think it might be better to hold to hot stock a bit longer waiting for a finance buyer or at least one with decent p/x?

We’re normally moaning about about cars that have been sat around for months, it’s nice to hear some quick success and positivity ;)

Thanks Simon, I've certainly got those as well. Let them sit a bit longer and I'll have a moan about them.

Well done Nick,it did sound a bit unbelievable 4 days on a 20 grand car,so I needed to hear the story, sad but I like the stories!

I recall a case years ago when I had bought a quite rare 3.0 Sierra 3 Dr high spec thing out of Leeds. It was a civilian spec police vehicle and I paid a fortune for it.Next day it is waiting at the back of the pitch to be valeted. We get a call from a guy asking about it who says he saw it when he was driving past.I said you must have good eyesight,I told him the price and he says,I will have that   I will pay you in the morning etc.Next morning ,this sharp looking guy comes in with the cash and hardly looks at the car.I again asked him how he spotted it from the road.......He said....I lied to you,I am a Police Officer, that was my car and I was going to bid a lot more for it but got called away etc.I got the auction to tell me who they sold it to and for how much etc.....stories .....stories

I am away at the moment Nick, but I will call you next week.

No, first profit is the best profit.

I sold a Passat on Friday and took his older (2 years older) Passat in chop.  It had a full tank, so planning to use it, stuck the dog in the boot and went to handwash next to the place I always take my pictures ready for the net and walk the dog around the park.  Thought to myself, I will run this car for a week until the tank is nearly empty - sold it that afternoon, first viewing.
