On a serious note Petrol Insignia 1.8 . Spent about £500 chasing an engine management light only for the customer to text me saying it had come back on again (Garage still haven't heard from her to book it in). Still made money on the car but only as it was a PX i paid peanuts for.
107 ?? wouldnt be mu choice of a daily driver but there no worse than c1 or the aygo version, yes they do clutches for fun but they can be fitted in 4 hours for less than a £100
To answer the op question has be the dreaded PSA quality engine 1.4 / 1.6 i cant walk away fast enough these days.

Interesting to know that the majority thought Facebook / Gumtree. I don't really get that many of the UWOTs from there.
Har i bloody knew it, was there a prize ?

I always take their number and say I'll give you a call if I change my mind, they obviously don't realise that piece of paper is hitting the bottom of my bin before they are more than 5 yards from my office door.
I never offer them a glimmer of hope if the bid in stupid enough then i spell it out no point me taking your number as it will never happen.
Otherwise they go away living in hope, often when i say thanks but no thanks they sit in the car mull it over and come back in sensible mode.

The £7750 is the amount recieved that is being clawed back.
blonde moment has passed well not really blonde thats the shine from my head but same effect sometimes.

i just read it again.
Yes I agree your loss is £7750 plus the aggro.
Are you in the clear on the first transaction, I’d be digging out the paperwork and making some calls.
What address did you put the V5 in?
wouldnt the loss be the original price of the car paid upon purchase then the claw backed amount later so would be more than £7750,

A few people from detailing world got ripped of once buying from eBay, it’s very easy to decant these products from 25ltr drums dilute it down and then sell it on, so Ebay is a big no no for me.

If you don’t have a local rep who can supply you brisk then valet pro do a great fabric shampoo, google if your friend to find them.

In the process of building one up myself.
Normal service will be resumed shortly and be back to the Mercedes show but good to see someone else taking the win for a change.
Nothing exciting its an old m3 2 door but engine has been tinkered with and all the interior ripped out roll cage in and side ways we go.

Our in track car all weekend, body feels like its gone ten rounds with a young tyson now.

They would get more for scrapping it.

Ive seen it myself, they’ll buy anything out of bca, [usually UKCGR no reserve] for £200 and literally a few hours later I’ll see the same car on marketplace for £300.
Dont they pay fees ?

no price that i can see hate filling in no obligation forms which often turn into 400 sales calls, any idea on a rough price.

There very price sensitive with lots of selection around so much people tend not to travel for them so price is key
