Glad to hear your doing well still haven't sold nothing 2 and half weeks and now it's starting to affect me so fingers crossed this week. on the other hand had a guy in with a s40 2009 Volvo looked really ugly. I called his car showed him average what was £4075 and told him that's all I'm gonna give as its not my cup of tea. The. He has the cheek to cap my car I knew my car was cheap so I did it cap clean £9150 wow and retail £11200 I had my car advertised at £10k with warranty. i told him balance to change £5900 after seeing the cap figures the guy offers me £5500 and I could just see this guy would be one of the jobs headaches so I declined I'm double thinking know but at the time it felt right. as far of motors been with them 8 months does not work for me maybe the cheaper stuff but German cars like what I sell no way. anybody else finding it tough ??? Replies greatly appreciated as always.

I have received many criticism about the website and yeah it's **** and content not great but looking forward for blue sky to have the new site up soon and bring some business through the door was at the hq few weeks ago with the designer sorting it all out so excited to see the proofs but really I'm so quite it's scary 2 weeks no coustmers or car sold that's bad man really stressing me out another month or two and il be done pray to god it will get better I love the job and do the job right all from the prep and Coustmer hand over.

had a customer kept asking on the phone can i have a test drive i told him yes 3 times then he started saying hes had a bmw audi but never a merc so wants to drive it i said fine. Then he says your not sure i said iv told you before you can have a test drive ( in a pissed of voice) he hangs up i was like good get this time waster/dream/looser/bottom of the barrel away from my phone and four-court people are so rude these days typical idiots !!!

hahahahaha jim to be fair thats what i thought i even told him you keep banging on about helping us dealers but you make huge profits and still put our prices up each year. Then i swiftly moved on to the subject regarding your open letter and guess what hes response was "jim hasent been with us for a while" " he just wants every one over to social media" my response was jim is a dealer just like me and the rest of us whos sick and tired of getting ripped off because they know auto trader works for some of us etc etc im seriously fed up with them but ebay and motors are not great i think i need to start pushing more on facebook !

Auto trader I control as far as i can remember my rep has been banging on at me to get i control. I never really paid attention to it i had a free trail a year ago and didnt really use it. Today i called my local rep getting prices about up grading stock then he said if you haven't got i control you wasting your money having more stock. Know quick question does i control work if it does how and why should i pay the extra money my rep has told me why but first hand from someone who uses it would be great. KInd regards Danny

I have given bluesky a build deposit for a website but im not happy with the site its a bespoke site but it just isnt me now iv seen g-forces at the expo and its not only the website thats attracted me to them its the the Facebook campaigns and all the rest on-line marketing they help you with is great anybody with some advice would be great and iv listed the website that bluesky have done for me and to be fair i dont like it so it wont be going live any time soon but on the other hand hand raphael my account manager for bluesky is great and was like he can build me another oneto my likeing etc someone please help im just a confused child in the candy shop kind regards danny http://basi.dev.cogplatform.co.uk/

Everyone thanks for the advice believe me I aperciate it massively I am acting on it not just words actions. sorting out my new website as we speak Iv told blue sky is they don't get there act together and sort it I'm moving to g forces. regarding the spelling mistakes I have got dyslexic like genuinely no bullshit there so my new website I just outed the content. apart from the website what does everybody else think of the stock priceing etc. i do aperciate your help and I don't get offended by the truth. umesh I think your absolutely right that would be a great idea. for example loads of people replied to my thread I set up but I didn't know who was who and It was hard to have a personal conversation with them and also if you have every ones details I think it's more easier to meet up at expos etc i think your idea is great and it would help us.

All i can say is WOW that is it. I have been breath taken in the last two days it was amazing. know I'm just going to go into a bit of detail so if your easily bored i suggest switch off now lol. Firstly i attended last year but this year it was a lot different and more special to me in many ways witch il get on to later. well i woke up yesterday morning and i had been invited to the debate and arranged by the cdm group to stay at the whittle bury hall i wasn't sure if i was going to make it as i had much to do but i was like what the heck so i got behind the wheel and drove down. Soon as i got to the hotel l i was welcomed by lovely staff and then i bumped in jon amazing bloke i was welcomed got my room keys and head up to the debate. When i arrived i met the team and few familiar faces and was introduced to the people i didn't know. The debate was astranamical great chat and great combination of opinions. After the debate a few of us hang around had some lovely hot chocolate and some macaroons soon after i headed down to the spa to relax before the bbq. Later that evening i headed down for dinner i must say thank you to the auto-volo team for the great food and then i met Umesh and few other lads and sat and eat and drank till the early hours of the morning. This was the special part I would like to say a huge thank you for the advice from UMESH and the lads they took there social time to correct me in my wrong doings and share there wealth of knowledge to a younger man trying to do the job right. Also i forgot to thank ALEXIS and SCOTT and few others sorry had 1 to many and forgot your names but whoever's ear i was chewing off thank you. Then the morning of the expo had breakfast set off to the expo a bit later then majority of the group got there around 9.45 so middle of google DAMN but hey I'm there had a good wonder round saw my Mannheim account manager showing off there amazing stand lol and went to some great speakers such as G forces Ivendi Facebook etc. Went to most stands as i have many products i was more interested inG ex and a good crm so i have a few options to muller over the week. then as i was leaving ollie from g forces caught me and started showing off there new lite cheaper product even the its templates its better then most sites out there. i currently have blue sky media working on a site but its just not right and i don't think it can get right so i was persuade to up my spend and transfer to g forces witch I'm going to think about but i must say there work is breath taking. know after many sweets tea and coffee I'm home in bed about to have a early night and get geared up to sell all my old stock and start fresh but i couldn't go to sleep without saying thank you to everybody who came and obviously the people who made it happen. so once again everybody i mentioned and even the people who's name i forgot thank you so much i really really appreciate your time effort and knowledge it means SO much to me that is something money can't buy so thanks once again i mean it from the heart. and UMESH I'm going to put your advice in action starting from tomorrow i really appreciate it mate wonderful chap full of life and Alexis and Scott thanks again. but most of all to the car dealer team you guys are great i don't know what i would do without you the magazine forms the list goes on and on. so James,Andy,Jon the young lady from trade plates and the rest of the team who's names i don't know thank you to i had a ball and what you do for independent dealers like me is great i was really honoured to be apart of the debate thanks once again. know i think thats enough thank you for one day (actually what every one done for me in the last two days it will be never enough) but i think thats enough of me chatting away as I'm not one to really write on forums but i think from now on i think I'm going to be addicted. i do a lot of high mileage stuff as iv always done good out of it low miles stuff never does well with me but around the 70 mark is always good miles everyone on here thanks for your replys all have been great but any more feedback will be appreciated

Hi everyone I'm really stuck don't know what to do. Business is really quite been like this for a month but don't know what more to do we stock typically 4o german cars as thats all we deal in. But the phone is not ringing at all and I'm getting really worried. i brought 9 cars from the bmws sale in nottingham baca in mid febaury over 100k worth of cars not even a single call on anyway getting really worried now. also brought some mercy around the same time but still no calls i see few supermarkets cheaper then me but as I'm in deep essex i don't think it will matter to much but just for the record they are BIG MOTORING WORLD CAR GIANT but i advertise on eBay,auto trader,motors and I'm really getting worried about this stock i brought etc. what am i doing wrong ??? if someone can take the time out to please look at my site or search our cars on auto trader from a fellow trader to trader it will help a lot. many thanks in advance. www.basildoncarsales.co.uk basildon car sales ss14 3au 01268 2800 40 kind regards
