Its all about passive income and working 2/3 hours a day on some signals earning £3k plus a month. I can teach you to trade for a small fee.....

Ill update when its gone stay tuned. I will get a picture with the customer for social media purposes.

As a student you would still be working on the side anyway unless your from a loaded family so why not. Hardest part of this job is buying unfortunately no easy answer Auctions ain't cheap until you buy a lot of volume. Even then not that cheap. I would go private if I had time on my hands, and I would not be a month between stocking cars there are plenty out there just need to think smart.

No not from BCA - Its a proper beast though will post a link. My dad even popped down at the weekend just to go for a drive in this one, he has not been to my work to do that ever before and we get some nice bits into stock. The grin when he fired it up was priceless. Mustang

No discounts here unless I am sick of the sight of it and trying to get rid. You may also get a small amount out of me if I am in a good mood and sold a load of cars ie you are the 5th/6th buyer on a Saturday and laugh at my jokes Probably 2/3 a month get a small discount out of 40+ sales.

I just bought one into stock. 5.0 V8 7k 16 plate. I don't think there seems to be that many about for sale and the viewing stats are high for it. Anyone fancy placing bets on how long I am looking at it for?

I think any car dealer needs to know the law better than the customers so you can be completely confident in your decisions and what you should be doing / not doing. I use Lawgistics and had a customer take me to court. I had responded and defended well confident in the law and my position of the law but the actual going to small claims court was different and I had no knowledge. Ended up having the large claim struck out thanks to me defending well initially and lawgistics keeping me moving in the right direction at the end. Struck out at the last minute and I was in a very good mood that week. The worst customer I have ever had the misfortune of selling a car to so far who sent complaint letters totalling 20+ pages at a time.

Credit Card Charges.... What do we do now??
Rory RSC replied to Wood235's topic in General Dealer Chat
Tell em they can have it on finance. -
You know when a customer reports an issue with a car, brings it back and then you go for a drive and its not doing it. So you ask them to drive and demonstrate and they can't do it but it definately happens all the time. Got one in at the minute convinced his clutch is slipping yet our mechanic, me and an external tuning company have all driven it and not experienced it. Customer can't demonstrate it and reckons it happens intermittently. Nothing to do with maybe just being a new car.
-
Do you offer any warranty with the cars Simon? I would be covering the cost in full but in house generally as we have our own workshop.
-
Looking good best of luck to you.
-
Can you take out a couple of interest free credit cards / overdraft or personal loan ? Should be able to raise a good few quid that way without the stocking finance issues. Have you spoken to a company called nextgear? Stocking finance is good if you are shifting cars quickly but it is very important to have a keen eye on the cost per deal.

You never been to a restaurant with someone who asks the waiter / waitress what they reccomend and then orders something completely different anyway ?
-
Had one of those ones out today wanting to pay around the same as on the current finance deal. Despite the car they were looking at being double the price of the car they bought last time. His Wife got it and was pretty annoyed with him for dragging her an hour and half away for that They are out there amongst us

Don't even try to This Jan has really kicked off well yesterday was madness here we did 8 Sat alone. I reckon it may dip a bit mid month and then be good after that, hard part now is buying as always.

I work on trying to make profit out of them. A lot of places tell us to focus on everything other than profit. Profit is a good thing.

Jon at Premier Insurance Winsford saved me a fortune - 01606 863400 -
Can charge an admin fee for a customer you are happy to waive if they do a bank transfer can't you
-
You need one with a different spec than run of the mill that tempts them to give you a try - You can then rival main dealer price by having the nicer car. Us independents generally give better service than the main dealers with most customers you can get them to tell you about a bad experience with a main dealer have a laugh about it and win the business.

I don't think it is harder to do a few these days. Its easier if anything as requires hardly any effort couple of pics, straight onto facebook / gumtree etc job done. See loads of people thing its easy to make £200 on a car and away they go. All traders until you have a problem then its private sale mate.

I wait 30 days before posting ours generally speaking for that reason. -
How long until 'Your customer' you sent them, is 'Their Customer' and gets sent to another garage with no regard for you? Come changeover cycled you think Zuto will give a stuff about that customer coming back to you? They will be actively targeted and it won't be to push them into one of your cars. I take the deals they send my way, but I would never refer a customer to them. Far more brokers out there paying a lot more money than they do. We are here to make as much as possible.
