I've got a Valporetti Polti. Brilliant. Can press the trigger for at least 5 minutes before losing any pressure. Then it takes 45 seconds to get back up again. I find it perfect for interiors. Use it with cloths to wipe down immediately or a blower

We have a Squeeze Green Fiesta. 3 months of advertising already but came cheap enough to hang it out. For now

My George is probably 10 years old now and going strong still. Couple it with a good steam cleaner for air vents and nooks and crannies etc and you can't go wrong. Steamers are great on steering wheels too especially leather ones with stitching. Come up a treat. Plastic steering wheel cover on afterwards and the customer always comments on how clean and fresh they are.

We always put the Vin on our Lawgistics receipts. Engine number also.

When I went 30 plus years ago the cafe was on a gantry opposite the Autioneer. Yes totally miffed with the shitter. Weeks later same thing with an Avenger. Came back to tow It and some bugger had nicked all the Tiger wheels someone had put on it. Oh what joys. -

Correct Castle Bromwich. My mistake. Even though Castle vale was closer to to BCA than Castle Bromwich. All changed last time I was their probably 5 years ago. Separate cafe and 2 halls if I remember. Or is that Measham? Won (haha) a Morris Ital from Measham and it blew its brains out all over the M42 on the way back to Tamworth. Happy days.. -

Just wiping my Vodka & Tonic off the screen. Remember BCA Birmingham ( Castle Vale) same thing. Getting choked on the canteen gantry eating your bacon buttie. 35 years ago for me. Wow!! supposed to be retired but still loving the buzz. -
Had one yesterday. On the phone asked if the Jag X type we have for spares/ repairs has service history and warranty. No, can I come and look at it, I'm in the trade too, No. Goodbye. To much stress on a Friday. Car is £395 with mot until November. Needs discs & pads. WTF. Getting too blunt in my old age......

DVLA. All the gear, No idea. Totally useless. Rather just put the car down the yard and off sale to avoid the stress. Good news for you today though.

We have one for the past 2 years. Loads of questions. Never got his money out. But he has bought others with him at times who are looking and 3 sales later just through him. Result and a bottle of his favourite tipple as a thank you. We will all get old and want to have a look at the local dealer at some time to bother. No bother to me.

Had 2 little cheapie from them in the past 2 weeks. Both good description except Kia Ceed was covered in pigeon crap and took ages to get off after getting baked on. No damage to paint though. Think because traders looking at Sytner normally looking at prime these slipped through. Chevy Aveo with no clutch was the other one. Both cheap as Pie & Chips. £36 for the clutch and under 2 hours to ramp on ramp off.

We've done 4 this month with 11 on AT and another 5 waiting on prep and paint. Trying to get our stock up to a steady 30 pitch good for 21 with a few down the yard Enjoying it at the moment as most customers seem very happy in the sunshine. Tyring to get stock on the other hand is getting more and more difficult. Not been to BCA for years and don't intend to either. We rely on a couple of dealers trade ins and dealer auction/ Sytner. A few decent dealers on DA in the Midlands.

Hit it with 3M green on a hard pad and finish with Blue on a soft normally works for me. What a pleasure when finished. Hard work but customers don't walk away from cars at this level. Give them the keys and walk away. Mind you C63 would not be on our forecourt. Having enough headaches with an older G Wagen. Never again. Thanks for the welcome guys. Russell

That was it. Many thanks. The memories are flooding back as I type. Yes was brilliant. Used to run a 4" block advert in the Mail. Was very proud at the time haha. Name in lights and all that. Grown up a bit since then. Thanks for the welcome.

Mine cost me £220 back in the day but I do a lot of machine polishing. Some paint thin some thick. Some hard some soft. Honda being the worst being very soft. German cars being the best to polish and wet sand if needed as very hard. Wouldn't put a pad on paint without one to be honest. Use the 3M polish normally in various stages or whatever's needed. Top off with a decent sealant and they look superb. Hi all by the way from a new guy. Been in it from the days of advertising in the Birmingham Evening Mail and that Pink paper I can't remember the name of. Getting on a bit now. Great site with some great info. You never stop learning do you Russell
