TV32 - I fully expected to go crawling back to AT in 3 months but based on this months business (as in busy ness), I am no longer fully expecting to, but keeping an open mind.

Stock total around 16-18 cars, sold 10 (7 gone, 3 deposit). Last 2 were 1 x CarGurus (free package only) and 1 x Google search for used cars. To be fair AT was still live for the first 3 weeks of the month and I am hopeless at asking people where the leads derived. Having said that and there can be many reasons, it has really picked up, my phone rings regularly and there is a general buzz of activity, cars in, PX in, cars out etc - gone a little crazy busy to be fair and I like it.

My enquiries are coming from all angles, FB, Ebay, CarGurus and Google itself. If this continues, AT will remain in the past for me.

I did the same Grant, served notice and package actually finished on Monday. Currently having my second best month to date but with NO AT bill.

I have never had a sensible bud from Movex. I simply pay Manheim and BCA which is very reasonable, for example: had a Mini transported (not driven) from Manheim Northampton to Worcester £94 Manheim. Driver turns up, picked the job up the same day, charged Manheim £85

Clark's Kia has set up a new showroom purely for second hand kit and PX's. It's a cracking site with showroom and forecourt opposite their new car site. Westland's Toyota (IIRC) did the same thing around 15 years ago - it's now a hand car wash.

I have 13 advertised and they "look" presentable but some are waiting for paint or servicing and MOT. Frustrating. Got a mobile mechanic who came highly recommended and is on service number 4 already, big help (but no MOT facility obviously).

I feel you pain - 11 in prep and only 6 ready. Relying on third parties is driving me crazy

It's a strange game this. I have been having a terrible run for the past 4 or 5 months with the odd exceptional week (5 last week for example). Could do with two more going before month end but to be honest, that is unlikely apart from one appointment on Saturday. Need 8 (pays everything and a wage), would like a reliable 10 but 12 would be perfect for me as a one man band. So far, 7 paid and gone with a dipper which will actually go on Monday.

It is all about vanity IMO. If you like motorsport, it is a good way to get tickets, pit passes et al but regards ROI, not for me.
