  1. It's only 1 foot so no chance there I don't have all the details, but I think it hit the water too quick and upset the SRS system
  2. Who you know.. There was one auctioneer in the Midlands that used to buy for favoured garages whilst working Conflict of interest much
  3. Merry Christmas all Any idea why a 2017 E350 CDI cut out and won't start after going through a 1 ft ford ? Some sort of fuel pump cut ? Something needs to be reset?
  4. Just watching Brighouse online, it was clear a few of the favourites were old boys standing at the front
  5. Yep they only have the tariff visible for private buyers to comply with consumer laws. Outrageous that they hold such contempt for the trade who make up 99.9% of sales.
  6. No way, then you'd miss Nottingham Friday morning !
  7. I used to do that day too back in 2009-2013 I'd counter that and say that those who know nothing are a nightmare and will question everything you do and drag you down. If anything, people would rather pay for someone in the hall than for online bidding which can be a mixed bag and cost you more.
  8. If thats who I think it is, thats his wife who does a few days a week. They're great. You'd think so, but those in the hall would rather do their own bidding which is why they are there. I think its the strapped up £1m stocking loaners and small franchise groups who would be best.
  9. It's something I've considered myself, but how do you find the clients?
  10. The guy I have used does 40/50 per week at £60 minimum Not a bad wage for 3/4 hrs a day
  11. Partnering with Tesla to underwrite their PXs when they first opened would have been a great move.
  12. Fair point, there seems to be several different 'tiers' in pricing where they look slightly different. Perhaps worth buying not quite the cheapest...

  14. Any reason you selected a Chinese knockoff at £300 sold by a UK seller, over the Chinese knockoffs sold from China for £90 ?
  15. Ahh I think you're right. Never noticed replicas of this style before https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1236918579805693 Classic Facebook trader if you look at his other 'stock'
  16. Yes, but how do you obtain a driving test appointment that quickly ?!
  17. Rear arches need going over I'm pretty sure these wheels were never copied
  18. Couldn't help but notice this. I'd love to see this turned out for £1500 again ! Those are W203 C32 AMG alloys on it - the only set on eBay are £500
  19. ^ Love it I'm never brave enough for these perfect looking UKCG oddities that seems alarmingly cheap in the hall, and £14.5k sounds like very strong money for a recorded car. Well done for holding out when others would have relented.
  20. Just seen this elsewhere. Do Mercedes run a 'not perfect' auction like VWFS ? 161,000mile but look at the state of it
  21. bloody heck... Last banger auction I went to these were making £150
  22. I remember when the smaller lease companies used to email me stock lists. Doesn't happen anymore
