  1. If it's the same as a 1 series they suffer from corroded ABS rings on the driveshaft which can cause the light to come on. This also causes the traction to kick in randomly when driving.
  2. If they really kick up a fuss then you can always show them the spec disclaimer at the bottom of every auto trader advert. Job done.
  3. "They never even asked if it had Bluetooth, but you cant blame them for assuming" I personally would not be offering a refund. If you didn't say or advertise it had Bluetooth but you both assumed it had it then it's a simple mistake that the customer has to take some responsibility for. As said above offer to fit a parrot as a goodwill gesture.
  4. Top man Does that mean the price goes up?
  5. Not yet but if I can get hold of a few more i10's like this it may be a possibility!
  6. That would be nice but £1400 gross. After probably £250 spend prep wise and minus VAT would be looking around £950 net profit which is average I imagine.
  7. Doesn't stand me in much at £600. Couple hundred quid spend then it's up for £2295. Based in the south east, be one of the cheapest within 80 miles at that.
  8. I had a 1988 C4 corvette for a couple of years. Not something that I was out to buy but this thing was absolutely mint and a cracker for the money. Got some looks that's for sure. If I knew how to upload a picture I would lol.
  9. I only took it in part exchange yesterday evening so haven't had a chance yet but I'll do a bit of investigating. Really lovely guy traded it in but I won't hold my breath on much history turning up. It is a manual 5 door in electric blue.
  10. Hi guys, took a 2009 Hyundai i10 1.2 comfort in chop yesterday with 85k miles. Nice car 1 family from new but no history unfortunately. Not my usual bag so unsure on a reasonable price. Would I be unrealistic in asking £2395 for it or kick it out the door at £1995? Thanks
  11. 3 today 2 being convertibles! Thats 6 for the month so far. Don't know where the punters have crept out of the woodwork from but I won't complain.
  12. Funny you say that we sold one recently in manual and could have sold it 5 times over. I think they need big spec to sell well, pro nav, heated seats etc. 3 in 3 days here.
  13. Same here October was dreadful, November started well but tailed off for a very average month. I don't think it's a coincidence people not spending money with all this Brexit scare mongering going on in the news.
  14. I have had an average month but my average may be someone else's "good", we all have different targets we are looking to hit. For me I do tend to beat myself up if I do not end up where I want to be at the end of the month but as said above sometimes it is just quiet and everyone is in the same boat so cannot get to down about it. I don't think enough will ever be enough for me, that is just how I am wired which can be a good and bad thing!
  15. Morning everyone, just a quick work of advice, if I take a van in part exchange do you have to add VAT onto the price. For example a van someone is looking to px is valued at £3500 CAP, do I then add 20% on top of that and show it on the invoice? Only reason I ask is that looked at the WBAC value and they add VAT so was uncertain. Thanks in advance.
  16. We are still dead here! A no show and a customer asking if we have any big discounts for Black Friday were the highlights of our weekend.
  17. Just a heads up there has been a spate of thefts around the Hampshire area in the last couple of weeks mainly BMW's. It seems that gangs are stealing steering wheels and the I drive systems out of these cars. https://www.basingstokegazette.co.uk/news/17238666.steering-wheels-stolen-from-vehicles-in-kempshott-area/ Two people I know have been affected. Both came out to drive to work one morning to find they had no steering wheel!
  18. If it helps it is the same here, 8 in the first 10 days and only sold 2 since. Very quiet on the enquires front also and don't get me started with trying to buy anything this week

    Stock

I managed to buy some fantastic great value stock at the beginning of the month but just like selling it seems to come in waves.

    Stock

Exactly the same here everything seems to be fetching very strong money and slightly short on stock. Saying that I would rather hang tight than have overpriced stock I'll still be looking at in 3 months time.
  21. Hi guys, just been offered to buy a 14 plate hybrid outlander by a friend. I haven't ventured into the hybrid world yet. Anyone know if these are good news or anything I should be aware of? thanks
  22. If the car is still for sale when the weekend rolls around you have nothing to lose, as long as the customer knows it's at his cost.
  23. 8 here so far. Great start to the month and nice to be busy again after last month!
  24. Sourced a year old c class coupe for a friend of mine recently. £25,000 car and borrowed the lot from a supermarket lender. Is paying back a little over £26,000 over 5 years. No wonder the finance companies can't compete!
  25. Best thing I've heard in a while.
