Am sick of a t with the new price marker.
Just playing devils advocate here but from a customers point of view I can see how they may be assured by the price marker showing it is "fairly priced"

If this is your main concern maybe you should forget it because it will happen.

That doesn't work with Cargurus

Having a 'cheap' scanner to faff around with is one thing, but investing in 'decent' professional diagnostic equipment (and the expertise/training to use it) is another thing. My advice, find a good 'man' and let him invest in buying the gear.
Just my opinion, others will follow.....?

The Bluetooth module looks like a large computer mouse, about 8 inches long and 4 inches wide. Reminds me of my old chap. Anyway, if you don’t have that you don’t have Bluetooth. As for what to do thereafter, I can’t help i’m afraid. But it seems others might be able to.
Sounds like you've got your millimetres and inches mixed up there James :-)

The last one I had like this I bought a module that fits in the armrest ( if it has the facility to plug it in there ) got it off Ebay for about £100

During what you chaps perceived as “the good old days” were there a lot of older dealers saying how things aren’t the same as the good old days?
Definitely yes

Just an update for anyone who's interested and for future reference if you have the same problem, it turned out to be the "Foot well light control module"
-
Hi, Can anyone offer any advice on this problem, 2008 BMW petrol 2.0 118i convertible, the problem is when you put your foot on the brake all the front and rear lights start flickering, so far I have checked all the earths and swapped the brake light switch and also checked all the bulbs and bulb holders, but no joy.

Hi, I'm after some advice on photo editing software that let's me edit my photos and then click and drag to re arrange my photos into the order i want them prior to importing, I use to import my photos into Autotrader then feed out, there click and drag system is great but i am now with the AA and although you can click and drag to re arrange it's a crap system because it is in a vertical stack and I need something that I can arrange them so I can see them all in one view ie: left to right and under each other.

I think you will find the problem is the temperature sensor that fits into the thermostat housing with a clip, cheap part and easy to fit.

Just now, NacMan said:Did any of you guys go to uni? Do your GCSEs? When did you get into the trade. was it a first job?
I left school at 16 no qualifications whatsoever, got a job as apprentice mechanic, went self employed at 19, that was 41 years ago.

hoping to break 30 this month with 29 being our record. We have been trading 2 years now, but this week we have only done 4 so may struggle to beat 30 now.
How many do you stock Grantlfc81 ?

We sell cars up to 15k, if we take a car in part ex and we think it is worth resseling even a 500/600/1000 etc car we still do a full workshop check and often a new m.o.t just like we do with every other car we sell to make sure everything is safe and sound, ok cosmetics may not get that much attention but I would not sell any car that I hadn't checked over.

I ran the usual checks and its "uninsured", Tried to check the tax and it says "VEHICLE DETAILS COULD NOT BE FOUND", so I'm guessing its SORN'd. But the MOT history has disappeared and I get the message "No vehicle that matched the data you entered could be found". Am I doing something wrong?
Why did you check it !
No more auto trader for me
