    Hi chan

The only person that can claim is the person paying the rates on your business land

It might be the case that the council are unaware you are even working there?

    So no you cannot claim

    Sorry

You will just have to take it on the chin chan;)

    Qualify

     in what way?

You could be making plastic wind up pigeons and still get the grant

You can even get it if you up the valleys see

How much funding will be provided to businesses?

    6. Under the Small Business Grant Fund (SBGF) all eligible businesses in England in receipt of either Small Business Rates Relief (SBRR) or Rural Rates Relief (RRR) in the business rates system will be eligible for a payment of £10,000.

    7. Under the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant (RHLG) eligible businesses in England in receipt of the Expanded Retail Discount (which covers retail, hospitality and leisure) with a rateable value of less than £51,000 will be eligible for a cash grants of £10,000 or £25,000 per property.

    8. Eligible businesses in these sectors with a property that has a rateable value of up to and including £15,000 will receive a grant of £10,000. 9.

Eligible businesses in these sectors with a property that has a rateable value of over £15,000 and less than £51,000 will receive a grant of £25,000.

    10. Businesses with a rateable value of £51,000 or over are not eligible for this scheme. Businesses which are not ratepayers in the business rates system are not included in this scheme.

As I said anything due as above will go to the person who gets the rates bill.

  2. This seems as good a place as any to say I think the government are doing a great job trying to help us all, I also think their daily updates are a really good idea for us to get straight from the horses mouth information, please take care everyone and see you on the other side.

  3. Interested. Any discounts due to the current crisis ? I may need a finance. Who is the lender you can recommend?

I got the above yesterday, I told her it was a fixed price then she told me she had a poor credit rating, I gave her a finance quote and never heard back from her.

I think it's pretty obvious where we are heading. Any dealer who isn't prepared to be shut down for 1-2 months has their head in the sand a little bit I think.

Also just noticed Manheim going online only from Monday.

    And waiving online fees.

My plan is full steam ahead!!!

I'll cross any doom and gloom bridges if and when I come to any.

Certainly won't be battening any hatches, scaling back or similar.

If anything I'll be going harder, and bmore positive.

I cannot physically stand all the scare mongering and the absolute morons who are out panic buying pasta and toilet rolls!!

One thing's for sure. I won't stop buying, working, looking for opportunities or doing any less than I already do.

I may even buy a hazmat suit and change all my 'attention grabbers' to....... CORONAVIRUS SUFFERS WELCOME'

Here here CB, same here (apart from the attention grabber) :-)
