If it is a diesel so same mechanics as a Nissan Juke, the dpf pipe to the sensor clogs up and bizarrely puts the traction control light on.

3 hours ago, YaranCars said:Good Morning everyone,
I have been reading this forum for over a year and I have learnt so much from everyone who contributes. I wanted some advice from people who are more experienced than myself. I have been trading from home for over a year and have been getting good sales and very good reviews. I am based in west London and I buy ex-lease cars that have full maintenance history that range in price from £6k - £13k retail.
I am thinking of investing more into this business and renting a showroom close to where I live. This showroom has the capacity to hold 14 cars and the asking rent is for around £3k/ month. I have managed to source around £100k that from several people who can invest into this business.
I am excited for this venture but I want some words of advice from any of the members here. Is it a good time to be going into this sector? is the investment enough? will I be able to be profitable with £3k/month rent for 14 car showroom?
Thank you,
Faz
If you want to do it then do it, because if you wait for a good time it will never come.

Hi, can anyone help with service history for a BMW 1 Series CK15 LFJ, Thanks in advance.

You will spend more time fixing than selling but if that's what you want to do that's fine, but my aim is to do less fixing and more selling.

But are they retail?

Although WBAC have reopened some branches this week so bca will be getting some stock starting to roll in now.
Yes I noticed WBAC are operating again but kicking them in the *****cks

Started in November doing ok until the lockdown. Had 6 weeks off but just started buying cheapies 1-2k and managed to move them. I think next year is going to be the test!

I agree, I think online only could be the way to go if they just get there appraisals improved, after all it's not rocket science.

Very good garage that I use for stuff like this, they have Autologic diagnostics, you can give your customer my number and I can book it in.
I've sent you a pm Nik thanks

The fault you mention is quite likely to be one of the shock accelerometers. We've done a couple - they seem very prone to failure. Part cost is around £120 and its a 30 min job IIRC..
Thanks Halfpenny I will try them tomorrow.

Can anyone help please, I have a customer with a 2014 BMW 5 series touring showing a "Chassis function restricted" message on the dash and I could do with a workshop in the area to check it out for me so I don't get raped by a main dealer, I'm 200 mile away so I could do with a recommended workshop near my customer in Ealing W5 4TP, Thanks.
