    No, I’ve never used a smart repair man in my life, just a one man band but he does all sorts - plenty of decent stuff passes through his booth. My original painter retired last year, he was as cheap as chips but even Stevie Wonder could tell where he’d been.

    The only true measure is a free market, ie no-reserve bidding. Bid rigging is simply an underhand way to run a reserve auction, which is not a free market. Whether its illegal or not, I don't know, but I do know "the wall" has bought a lot of cars!!!

    Why doesnt the op just buy grade 5 stuff at any of the big players loads of it around, and so i am told far better prices than copart as the weekend warrior stays clear of auctions, again this is third hand have no experience in this market. I cant get my painter to do a simple bumper blow in at a decent time frame so would be of no use to me,
