    For all the lights to light up, could be a battery/alternator issue. Although I agree with the refund, it equally could be something she has done, i.e put diesel in a petrol, damaged some parts. I'd get a workshop to diagnose the issue before parting with any money. Explain to her you want an impartial party to look at it first. If its an easy fix, explain everything to her, pay for the fix and happy days. Work from there....

    I would also add that you need to allow 3 months for the car to be sold, Your customer might imagine it will be sold in 2 weeks...........................if they take it back within the 3 months you should have a fee for the cleaning and the advertising, I recently had this issue with a distant friend and thought will not be doing that again

    Customers don't give a hoot mate don't worry I have sold two this week with Massive HIGH prices on , one was wait for it £2,890 OVER Priced the other thing is their system don't take into account , rarity , Polish jobs , Cam Belts Full service history ,Colour , New tyres , and if you bring it up with them as i do regular they just say its all part of the customer journey and a discussion point .

    I don’t use Autotrader but you have to ask how on Earth can you expect any advertising platform to know you have put a fancy wax on

    BCA seam to be declaring major faults now, engine noisy/smoking, Clutch fault etc. Doesn’t seam to be putting buyers off though. Watched a Jag XF last week declared as engine noisy, eml on and gearbox fault. Capping clean without faults at £3700. It sold for £3750, madness.
