1 pointWell, whatever mate, it’s your business if you think it made a profit, then it doesn’t matter what I think. Good luck to you. No, I understand why you wouldn’t want to do that but if you think about how often you could have reinvested the money, in something that turned 4 times or more, it does give you something to think about when deciding to cut its legs off or not. I don’t suppose there’s a right or wrong answer, each to their own.

1 pointAbsolutely agree. Unless you are short of money or space there’s no need to bomb every sticky car out at a loss. Mind you, I’ve never had one get to anywhere like 2 years

1 pointAren’t the new car sales side of main dealers not heading to becoming an anachronism? Apart from test drives, what do they offer that can’t be achieved by a punter logging in online and using their bank details (or more likely, completing the finance questionnaire) to order their car direct from the manufacturer, ESPECIALLY with the more bread n butter manufacturers. Admittedly the introduction of scabby old p/xs muddies the waters but that can be overcome. Times are a changing.

1 pointAlready theres panic buying and panic selling, whether its food or stock markets. It will be people and the media that will be the architects of any chaos that follows more than the virus. And if there is world slump in the economy, it's the cash rich corporations that will benefit, buying up investments at low prices, and if I may add, that this is nothing new and has always historically been the case. Lets all hope it all fizzles out over the coming weeks/months.

1 pointChild lock advisory means the tester is unable to test the rear doors opening from inside which is part of the test. Most testers will disable the lock, test and reenable it but advisory is also possible. Better than him disabling the lock and then not activating it again. Imagine the complaints.
