awc1000 93 Posted June 29, 2020 so you are in the market for a very special car and decide to go the franchise route for peace of mind....how much do you reckon you can spend and still be taken for a clunt by buying a previously damaged car? guess the car / franchise / price, i'll update later. BHM 994 Posted June 29, 2020 I guess it’s not a £2999 Focus but nothing would surprise me. I’m afraid greed and/or incompetence are in every walk of life, even present in car main dealer groups!

Mind you, the potential new buyer wasn’t bothered until he found out because, by the sounds of it, he was clearly unaware. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss. Looking at the type of owners these cars attract nowadays & the traffic lights Grand Prix they participate in I’d be surprised if half of them haven’t been nailed back together at some point.

Just export it, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia would take it, try one of the big parallel importers, some even have premium Franchises alongside their grey market business..... Couldn't agree with you more................. I know a guy in Kent who owns a large body shop, does nothing but buy Lambo's, Rarri's, Porker's, R8's and lots of other completely trashed exotica and stitch that junk back together, he's extremely good at it The man earns a very very decent living doing just that 1
